Ubicado en la región de los valles centrales, es una zona arqueológica no tan explorada, cuya importancia reside en su sistema de canales y ductos de irrigación. Su fiesta patronal es el 10 de agosto y en los festejos se realizan bailes, procesiones, las famosas calendas, carreras de caballos, torneos de básquetbol y encuentro de pelota mixteca., se elaboran artesanías de palma y bordados, deshilados y tejidos en ropa de algodón y se produce mezcal de manera artesanal.
