Walking into the hotel was encouriging; the lobby was clean and the decor was semi chic; after that, it all went downhill. The elevator was meh. Rooms were unimpressive, somewhat dirty (seems someone had spilled something between the wall and the night stand of which was also present on the bed skirt...this was not cleaned up and mold spores were present), really small and akwardly designed. Beds were not your average double bed as advertised, more like an extra large twin. The bathroom was really small but did have a standing shower/tub combo as advertised; the toilet is located nearly behind the seperating bathroom door so it makes it a very tight squeeze for two persons to be in that portion of the bathroom at the same time. Air conditioning was poor until the maintenance person came and said we have to put the temp at 20° for the room to get cold (like wth) as we had it at 16° from when we entered the room. The PROS of the stay were the friendly and helpful staff, the convenience of getting in and out the pool, plushness of the pillows and mattress and the bed changing everyday...thats about it. In conclusion, if you're just looking for somewhere to lay your head and not somewhere extremely comfortable and luxurious, i would recommend this hotel; its barely nice enough but I've stayed at better.

Rooms are mostly okay, but they don't care, if something breaks down. Lights were flickering and in the evening there was warm water but not in the morning. Roomdoors were only for decorative purpose, you could hear everthing.Service was friendly but couldn't remember the correct Orders. Only good Things were the beds.

Excellent location. Puts you right in downtown where the shopping strip is located. It has a pool, which I think could be cleaned more often. The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are comfortable especially the bed, my wife loves the beds. My biggest gripe: the wi fi is horrible, if you are a business traveler you will have serious problems getting online.

Lovely hotel to stay when visiting Chetumal. The hotel room is clean. The staff are friendly, accommodating and pleasant to communicate with. The pool is cool and refreshing. Parking is secure and free. The price per night is $100.00BZD which good price, for what you receive for the price. All in all from my three visits here it's been consistently Good.

Much better than the front door would say. The parking has ready access to the conference rooms and rooms. Unexpected cleanliness and good decor given how it is all squeezed among other buildings. Much better than the three stars it just a listed under. Also liked the market and museum across the street.

Everything was great!!! We had a bell hop/door opener right as we got out of the taxi. Service is great if you can handle no english. We didn't mind because we had fun with the language barrier. When we were going out for the rest of the day, we had the door opened and waved down a taxi for us. Lots of vendors and shops. Don't expect a beach. But there is a nice "boardwalk" that has statues for taking pics. There is a museum across the street from the hotel. The food in their fine dining was superb and sitting around the pool was pretty and relaxing. The room is a nice room and the bed is comfortable. I definently rate this a five star hotel. Especially for $49 + $10 for taxes and fees.

Everything was amazing except for the pool. Could be a little bit cleaner. But besides from that, I recommend staying here since it's close to basically everything you need.
