Capitán Dulché Beach Club - 77400 Isla Mujeres

Relaxing place. We have been there multiple times. Chairs and pool use is free. Only issue is they are a bit disorganized.....slow service. Pool is great and in water you can see crabs, sting rays, fish and more fish. Wear shoes or Sandels in the shalow ocean.

Great burgers, used the beach , pool, loungers & umbrellas at no extra charge, I love this place, wish we could've stayed a bit longer

Great facility. Pool , beach ,banos, dock, food and drinks. No entry fee. Just buy some food and drink.

We come to Captain Dulces for the food and ambience. The coconut shrimp are huge! Unlike many other places they don't overcook them, they are fresh and delicious and they serve 8 in an order. The tuna tostafdos are another favorite, fresh and very tasty. Service is always good. I usually get one or two mosquito bites...but no one else with me ever does. We haven't used the swim up bar...but others seem to have a good time with it. We will keep coming back!

An absolute hidden gem that you must stop at. Its tucked away from the road so its easy to miss. The food was delicious, the hospitality was great, we got a table/hut right on the sand and loved the view while enjoying our drinks/meal. After our meal we walked out to the end of the dock and jumped in the ocean over and over and over again. Water was amazing and super clear. The wife and kids all loved it. The pool bar was cool too, just the whole vibe was chill, and secluded, and felt very zen like. Thanks Capitán Dulché! We will be back here!

Highly recommend for a quiet getaway from the north side of the island. The water isn't as beautiful as at North Beach, but the grounds are lush and green, and facilities are well kept and very nice looking. It wasn't crowded, the food was good, the staff was friendly. My only complaint is that kids were allowed to jump off the ledge into the pool right next to the swim up bar splashing the adults sitting there.

Actually found this place googling while driving around Isla Mujeres on a golf cart. Service was good, food portions were plentiful, and the beer was cold, what more does one need. Pricing was catered more to the tourist than locals, but hey, it's vacation, so wasn't overly concerned. Another great time had by all on our visit to Cancun!

This is a great beach club, nice layout, and far away from the crowded and infested areas of the north beach area which in my well traveled opinion is one of the most tourist infested beaches I've ever been to in Mexico! The food was good and not too pricey but we always pay with a card when we can and always tip in pesos as it's easier this way and you save lots of money for good tips! We went here twice in a week. The first day was great and we spent a bit of money and tipped very well, and the second day we went it was fine too albeit a bit slow getting drinks from that days waiter, but not too bad to get his attention. When our bill came we let him know that we're paying the bill with a credit card and tipping in pesos and he let us know that there is a 5% premium on credit card transactions which we were fine with and it's noted on the menu. When we paid and tipped and thought we were done, he came back and said we owed 450.00 more pesos because he forgot to add three of our tequila shots and that we had to pay the rest in cash. I asked to see the original receipt and they were not on there, so I said just run the card again and he insisted that this could not be done and we had to give him cash. I found this to be sneaky and that this was just a skim of sorts, and was apprehensive about coming up off of our pesos because atms run out of cash quick on mujeres and we didn't want to use that many for a "mistake", but we did and left! So make sure you check your bill to see if everything you ordered is there, because this may happen and we just let it go, this time. Overall we loved this place, but if he didn't do that cash in hand on a written piece of paper, his tip would have been bigger! But I do recommend this place!
