★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wife and I wanted to get out of the resort for a nice dinner and just kind of randomly chose captains cove not knowing anything about it. We were both blown away! The service was second to none, and there was a lady with a beautiful voice serenading us (and the other customers) on their beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. The food was even better. I had the seafood risotto and my wife had the stuffed chicken. Both were fantastic! We also had the appy platter and the calamari and every single piece of food was amazing. Prices were very reasonable as well. Absolutely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice evening at Captain's Cove. Had Shrimp cocktail that was more like baby shrimps on plate with cocktail sauce. Had saw pictures of large shrimps in cocktail glass in other reviews. Clam chowder in bread bowl was very good. Had shrimp carbonara and that was very rich but tasty. BEAUTIFUL SUNSET!

Went there for my husband's birthday, this was our second time visiting.
We love seeing the sun sets and waiting for the crocodiles to show up for dinner!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was excellent. However they have no «normal bread » or crackers. They just serve a kind «brioche bread » with no butter. The mini hamburger were ok and served with a barbecue sauce. The potatoes however were almost raw. The cob salad was ok. It was fresh, and served with a supposed french sauce (nothing to
do with a real one) and the shrimpfs in it were almost invisible ?

You can sit outside facing the lake, we had a crocodile located below us which was interesting to watch whilst eating, you're high up so it can't come close.
They brought a free birthday cake which was a nice addition.
Would recommend.
