★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Actually this was a good experience. You must take your exit immigration info to a small office opposite the check-in counters. The man was quick and efficient but if there are a lot of travelers be aware there is only one guy working there. There is a small cafe open even at 6am. Delicious hot chocolate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having to travel through customs multiple times on business trips, this airport was always a pleasant experience. It is much harder to return home and wait in endless hour-long lines and this airport really has their act together. No muss, no fuss - in and out process that is easy and painless.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a tiny national airport, easy to go around. However, its surprising the amount of stores and restaurants it has. So, pretty cool!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From Palenque to Villahermosa airport, you can buy tickets to route: ADO Airport. It's a van transport that fits 15 passengers. The van have a cargo area at the rear for extra luggage. You can buy tickets via ADO app, ADO website or directly at OCC bus office. Comfortable and great service. Approximately 2 hours trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice four jetway airport that is just the right size for me. It has service by 737's but is still small enough you are not fighting crowds and walking long distances. You can even ride your hover board if you get bored.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Domestic flights wing of T2 is crowded, and messy.
There are not enough chairs to sit. The place originally designed for chairs and tables has been now removed and a lot of usrless stores installed there.
Aeromexico (by far the main user of this airport's wing) system to board by airplane "area" appears to have been designed to bother the passenger.
Aeromexico halls A to F for domestic flights is the hell on earth as information is given by several close speakers at the same time. No coordination at all. You can't understand what they say!.
Restaurants are few and their prices are abusive.
I would say "don't go" unless you have access to VIP areas. But, if you don't and your connection must be done in T2, you better prepare psychologically, make yoga, or visit your therapist before.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Like all Mexican airports it's so quick, efficient and stress-free. Especially when compared to Canada or USA. All the service staff is kind and helpful. Only issue is this airport is so tiny there's like 2 restaurants to choose from.
