Carlotta hotel Boutique - 37700 San Miguel de Allende

The food is incredible!! Best breakfast in SMA! And the service is unmatched!

Good location in San Miguel... but the installations were poorly maintained. We travelled with a tall man and he said the bed was too small. On the reservation it said we would have breakfast included but the kitchen was closed on Monday & Tuesday... for luck, those were the days we stayed. Staff was nice and helpful, but not worth the price.

The most noisy place in mexico city, really not a good choice if you need to rest after a day of visits or jetlag... the people at the bar are not kind at all by the way. Really not a good plan!

Hedious. Just arrived into the room and has a leak from the ac that is literally making a pond, super dirty floor (pencil shavings, price tags, broken glass, hair in the bathroom!), the bed has a very visible yellow spot, old pillows. I took pictures of everything to show to the owner. Not worth a cent of what I paid. I can’t believe it’s so different from what I saw in their website. I’m here for 1 night only and super disappointed

HOTEL CARLOTTA MADE THE STAY IN SAN MIGUEL JUST PERFECT! A FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE! THE HOTEL IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP AND MANY REVIEWS WERE MISLEADING! There is no longer a nightclub downstairs, it is actually an upscale neighborhood restaurant that you should take advantage of. Each plate is chef prepared not generic food you would find in a resort. Restaurant has typical hours they were not opened past 10 pm when I was there. It is not loud at all, certainly would be comparable to any other hotel in the centro a block off the square but the only "noise" i heard at night was distant and typical in the city nothing that prevents relaxing sleep. The staff at Carlotta is very helpful and friendly. The rooms were modern, very well appointed, spacious and clean. The linens, curtains, bedding, lighting, bath vanities and shower tiles exceeded my expectations and had a posh feel. The location is EXACTLY where you want to be! Carlotta is easy to find and very convenient. The new owner also owns Oficina a wine bar a couple blocks away that should be on your bucket list. He has made many changes to Carlotta and I'm told is planning to do more. Only 6 rooms in the hotel and the staff makes you feel you are among friends! I highly recommend!

Dinner was very good the fish tacos and the octopus sope were amazing. the service was excellent. we will come back for breakfast!!

We ate breakfast here and loved it. The service was impeccable, the Bloody Mary was amazing!! They brought us an umbrella to provide shade and brought our furry pup some water, so kind. Highly recommend!!
