★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here is fantastic and cheap, which is the norm in small Mexican towns. The ahumados meat here is what Americans will recognize as smoked ham. It is delicious and has a stronger smoke flavor than Americans will be used to. I highly recommend stopping in for a few tacos.

Seriously, the food is unbelievably good. Definitely coming back here if I ever return to Mexico.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious, abundant, fresh, spicy, well done tortillas, super affordable prices and the real small town ambiance. Kindly staff and great humidor meat plates, complex and yet simply food. The real thing in your way back to Valladolid from all day swimming in cenotes and climbing up mayan ruins kind of hungry.
