Everything is freshly prepared so you might not get your food in 14 seconds like some other places but it's worth waiting a few more minutes for a bubbling plate of carne en su jugo. While the specialty stole the show the Chistorra and guacamole were also top notch. The place is fairly small and fills up fast so you might want to make a reservation

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing!! Caesar is a fantastic host. From service, food, and hospitality. Everything is 5 stars and beyond. This was the first food I had since flying into Mexico. Now I'm going to compare anywhere else with here. I'm truly blown away by how delicious the food is and all the types of flavors you get with each bite.

Owner speaks great English and is very hospitable.
Have and would return to this place.

The service was really fast.
The guy that served me the food took his time to explain the ingredients behind each dish. It was very much appreciated, and interesting.
As he said the meat was cooked and removed of the fat part, so it’s healthier than other versions, without losing it’s flavor.
The portions were a little too much for just one person but they were very kind to reduce the size (and price as well) of the dishes.
The dessert was very creamy, it melted in my mouth. Absolutely loved it.

The food was outstanding, and was absolutely my favorite meal of this trip. I am extremely grateful that we came across Carnes En Su Jugo, and if I ever end up back in Guadalajara, I'll return for sure.
