★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited here today on our way back from San Juan de los lagos to Tepatitlan. Hands down best carnitas! Freshly made, you choose your own meat from the Cazo (basically a huge saucepan). They also have bonb grilled chicken. We got carnitas, chicken, beans, avocado and beer.
Super flavorful, not overly salted and as I mentioned before-the meat is super fresh, juicy and tender! Cannot say enough about this place, if you're ever in the area you HAVE to try it! Been here about 4 times and this place never disappoints!
Another good thing to mention as clean (and free) bathrooms are far and few between-they keep bathrooms nice and clean. Restaurant is well kept and service is excellent. If you have kiddos they also have a horse and cow toy kids can ride on. Love love love

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food and atmosphere, they do have a couple of items other than the fried pork carmitas, may want to try the chiles rellenos as a vegetarian option, the salsas tortillas and guacamole are excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to eat carnitas after visiting San Juan de Los Lagos. You pick what you want and they chop it up for you, give you pico de gallo, chile, and tortillas. For the non-pork eaters, they have grilled chicken.
