★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Splendid... for me, a "carnitas" devoted lover, this this is a great place. You can choose the exact piece you want to eat which is a common situation in Aguascalientes and by the way that is really a perfect approach. However the flavor of Alteño is simply special... please don't miss tortillas, hand made, plus the vinegar chili that make this a must requirement. Rest of menu is simple but tasty such as nopales or quesadillas for a really low price, my only issue, no natural orange juice is available. A good facility with huge kid areas, pharmacy and two good guitarist from Duet "La Chonita" Grilled chiken is also available and because is one of my favorites I will update shortly. Just be careful of crossing the 45 highway if you come from Leon. Now they accept credit and debit card but no Amex.

You can have table service or pick out your own platter of carnitas from huge fresh vats. Large fresh corn tortillas, salsa, pickled carrots and jalapeños on the side
