Casa 1810 - 37700 San Miguel de Allende

What a gorgeous hotel this is. It was my second time staying here. The location is perfect. The hotel is clean and beautiful. We enjoyed our room (although the first time I stayed here the room was much more beautiful) - with comfortable beds and linens, lots of space and everything we could possibly need. The concierge staff was incredibly helpful in everything we needed, including helping us make reservations prior to our arrival at all the restaurants we wanted to go to. They helped us with transportation as well. We enjoyed drinks at sunset on the terrace and we loved the breakfast that was included. Our only complaint was with the waiter at the restaurant who charged us for water as he stated that it was not included with our breakfast. That just felt so wrong, especially because had we known this, we would have brought our own water bottles which were provided by the hotel in our room. What made it even more tacky is that the second day, he changed the price of the water! On the other hand, it was so kind of the concierge to send my husband some ginger tea when I mentioned that he was not feeling well.

Great location, easy to walk to everything. Rooftop for F&B was great views. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is a beautifully decorated, quaint hotel in the most excellent location. Located half a block from the main square, it is so easy to walk to amazing restaurants, shops, etc. The food here is also excellent. Breakfast is included and should not be missed. I think the best kept secret is the 8 course brunch on Sunday morning. Our large group of 20 also ate there for dinner one evening and the service was excellent, the food was perfect, and the atmosphere is swanky. The front desk clerks and the bellman were excellent help. We wanted to take a trip out to Atotonilco to see the church. They arranged a driver who was also a tour guide. The staff walked us to the suburban where we were being picked up and made sure that we were happy. They also arranged transportation to the airport, dinner reservations, covid testing, etc. I just cannot say enough about the customer service, kindness of the staff, and excellent food.

The grounds are small, but so very spectacular and beautiful. The staff is so attentive and special, that will cater to your needs. Ana, Deanna, Brenda and Luis, made the stay very special:

We had a reservation and when we arrived we had 10 minutes to order they were closing the kitchen. They rushed us the hole night. They should of not taken are reservations. The food was cold when it arrived. Great view but we should had left once we saw it.

The staff and food were wonderful- the rooms are a very nice size; the Only problem is the noise which filters through. Such potential! I’m older, maybe if you are younger - this is Super! (Maybe they should put up tapestries - to deaden noise?)

Beautiful boutique hotel located just steps from the main square and the best restaurants in town! We were very pleased with the rooms, and the outstanding service from all of the staff at the hotel. The rooftop terrace has amazing views of the city, and the food at the hotel was some of the best we had in San Miguel. We could not ask for a better location...very close to the center of town (200 yards from the square) and many of the cities best places to eat! We highly recommend this hotel.

This is one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I was traveling solo internationally, and the staff made me feel comfortable and safe: the front doors were locked late at night, and there was always someone at the front desk. This hotel is also perfectly located - everything you could possibly do is only a 5-10 minute walk. The rooms were clean and perfectly sized. The staff made sure the room was clean, and you could tell that it was cleaned without the chemical smell. The front desk also helped me with my bags, even when I arrived at 1 am. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend!
