great hostel prob my favourite in mexico so far, great staff, SUPER clean, great rooftop, loads of social events on the roof 100% would recommend only thing i would say is not to book tours through them as they charge you more than the regular tour guides in the main zócalo!

Great party hostel in Oaxaca. Facilities and wifi is good but can be loud some nights. Great for solo travelers

I enjoyed my 4-day stay so much that I extended for another 5 days to the end of my time in Oaxaca. The rooms are very nice and block most of the sound from outside. The hostel itself is very pretty and puts on good events. The "mezcal experience" is actually very nice as you get to try "sin marcos," so its very legit. Socially, its hard to really meet people. Its not due to the hostel but of travelers in Oaxaca. Its a stopping point so people are only staying a few nights.

Really underdelivers for the price. The bathrooms are old and stinky, there's nowhere to hang your stuff in the shower. The dorm is nice but when I moved in it was literally filthy from the previous guests (pieces of food all over the floor). Apparently they don't clean the floors/surfaces between stays. Also depends on what you're looking for, but this is definitely a party hostel. People coming back from the rooftop all night, talking super loudly in the corridor outside the dorms. The activities here are nice but you can join all of them without staying at the hostel. Honestly not worth the price.

I really enjoyed my time here. It was fairly clean and the facilities seem relatively new. I liked (especially for traveling during COVID) that I got to sleep in a pod, it reduced noise from my roommates as we all kept different hours. It was fairly social, especially on the rooftop in the evenings. The wifi was the most solid I have had so far in Mexico and was able to sustain my remote work. They have excursions and events every day, I went to the Hierve de Agua excursion and it was fantastic (especially for $500MEX)! The location was nice, I liked that we were a few blocks away from the noisy city center. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Oaxaca.

Fantastic experience! I've stayed at a few hostels in my time and this one is right at the top. They know how to run a good hostel. It was the perfect spot whether you fancied a quieter time (rooftop closed around 11pm to allow people to go to sleep who weren't continuing their night at a local bar), or whether you wanted to meet lots of people which was helped through loads of day and night time activities. It was just the right size, where you could meet different people but without feeling the cold and distant atmosphere that you sometimes get in huge hostels. Would 100% stay again. This hostel and the people I met there was one of the highlights of my trip.

Located very centrally, rooms and common areas clean and nice. Staff very friendly, most speak english very well. Regular nightly activities on terrace. Great beds with curtains for privacy along with lockable locker. Good breakfast included, not too much not too little. I had a great time here for 6 nights, with loads of new fun people coming in every day. Recommend the hostels own tours and activities.

Very nice hostel, we stayed in the private room which was cozy and also cleaned every day, this definitely adds up :) plus for a breakfast served every day and extra activities like walking tour or salsa lesson. The only downside is that it is a bit noisy, the terrace is open until 23 and you can hear the music as well as later on from the bar nearby. If you are a traveler that is into a party and meeting a lot of new people that’s definitely a place for you. If you are looking for a more calm place, just bring the earplugs ?
