S	Suzan Bijloo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maty and her son both run this place and there wonderful warm and welcoming people who give you all kinds of advices and arrange your tours. The cabins are well made and no way a muscito could enter. The beds are comfy and the cabins give a great glamping experience. While reading a book in the small comunal area all kind of small animals come and eat the fruit the owners left them .Although I'm not sure if it's ok to feed the animals. Unfortunately we didn't see monkeys but we did hear them and saw lots of other animals. Why we didn't give 5 stars: there is a big road nearby where you could always hear the cars (in the background) and next to the hotel there is a mechanical workspace (garage) which can be noisy at moments as well, not at weird hours though.
M	Mark Kloosterboer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The welcoming family runs small cabanas in the jungle, just outside Palenque. Three mosquito-free bamboo cabanas share the bathroom facilities. Nicely decorated and lighted wooden paths in between. It's possible to prepare your own meal and order a drink from the small bar. They offer to order pizza as well.
T	Theodore Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love it. Very clean. Hot water. Huts are bug free. The people are extremely helpful and pleasant. Ive been to 4 jungle camps now. 1 in Ecuador, peru, guatamala and now here. This one is the best. Some I had to take boats up a river yet still rarely saw any wild animals. This place has wildlife. The lady can call the monkeys for a snack. Usually in against feeding wild animal but in this case it's a relationship with them. The camp is in the monkeys home. I saw a fox, parrots and many other birds too. Whats also very nice is in most camps your in the middle of nowhere. Here your a $2 cab ride from town. Palenque is a very clean, very safe city. Its also very affordable. My first night I was wondering about road noise. It stops about 9 pm. In the mornings the birds and monkeys are a great way to wake up. Love it!
E	Emily D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely magical place in the jungle. Very warm and helpful host. Very clean and practical. Lovely outdoors hot shower. Delicious breakfast and fresh proper coffee. Ask the host to help you feed the monkeys in the morning - it was an absolutely once in a lifetime experience. The inidividual bedrooms were really lovely and protected from mosquitoes. Mattresses not fantastic but still had a good night’s sleep.
s	sedonya on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is amazing! The owner is welcoming and friendly and cooks an amazing breakfast. Dorm is simple yet clean while the Community area is comfy, beautiful and well equipped with a shared kitchen, bar, books and a record player. At night you can hear the howling monkeys and in the morning you can feed a wild monkey family with bananas (they’re friends with the owners and come when she calls). Beautiful experience!

b	betty betty on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately rooms are extremely small, the bed linen are humid (at night,) which is a horrible feeling and the kitchen extremely dirty. Plus the owner are unpleasant. I got a feeling she doesn't like people from Europe
O	Oliver Beattie on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was the first place we stayed in Mexico, and still by far the best even after 5 weeks of travels. It's like something out of a book: beautiful huts in the jungle with the call of monkeys and birds all around. The facilities are excellent – clean toilets, outdoor yet private shower, and a communal lounge and kitchen space. The huts are very well protected against mosquitos (Bambutan is still the only place where we didn't get bitten at night), but I agree with the other reviewers that the mattresses could be better. The place is also beautiful at night; a lot of effort has gone into the thoughtful lighting. Such a tranquil and special place.
