★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gerardo was responsive and helpful with questions before we arrived.
We were able to check in earlier as the room was ready.
We were so impressed with the large bedroom and the bathroom.
The quality and detail of the finishes were to a high standard, the room was so clean and felt brand new.
The room had a fan and air conditioning. We slept so well during our stay here, it was peaceful at night.
I could not fault this accommodation! Really enjoyed the time we spent there. The walk into town is a good 5 minutes, downhill to the beach but quite an incline on the way back. I wouldn’t want to be any further away from La Punta beach. The staff were really friendly and helpful and booked a taxi to get us to Mazunte.
I would highly recommend eating dinner at Alivo Kuauitl Ristorante just a few minutes walk away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Let me start off by saying that the owners are some of the kindest and most helpful people I've met. I've rarely felt this welcome at a hotel. The hotel itself has a beautiful coastal boho vibe with lots of natural materials and plants. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the 360° view from their rooftop terrace is stunning. The hotel is a few minute walk from the beach which is a total bonus if you're looking for peace and quiet because La Punta can get quite lively at night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 10/10!! Amazing new Hotel. Rooms were clean (and cleaned every day) and spacious. Staff was friendly and prices at the Bar were reasonable. The pool area was great to relax. We could use the common area at the day of our arrival and the departure aswell.
Two little improvements: a little fridge at the rooms would be great and the roof terrace has so much potential. You have a awesome view to the sea. I used it for Yoga 3 times, but there should be a Bar or little coffee for breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favorite hotel in Puerto Escondido.
This hotel was built around May 2021, and is well maintained and serviced by the staff. The owner, Gerardo personally greets the guests throughout the stay, and during our visit (when Hurricane Agatha hit late May, 2022), he blocked all the rooms from new reservations in case his guests got stuck at the airport and had to return and bunker down. This level of service was outstanding for myself and 4 other friends who occupied separate rooms.
Location - Casa Bicachi is less than 5 minutes from the main intersection Calle Jalisco and Calle Campeche in La Punta, which made all the good bars and restaurants easily accessible. There is a short, slightly strenuous walk up a hill, but will not be an issue for most and would only get your heart rate up.
Because we are a stones throw away from the Main Street, the rooms were very quiet. Additionally, there are blackout curtains that work extremely well in blocking out the strong morning sun. I am a light sleeper sensitive to light and sound - had no issues sleeping throughout the night.
Rooms - Very clean, and serviced daily. Very comfortable beds (medium firmness), with four pillows (two firm and two soft). Made it very easy to customize our sleeping arrangement. The sheet, and duvet/comforter was good quality and clean.
Our room had 40” smart Samsung TV’s with Sky-HD cable (use the yellow button to switch to English), and access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and YouTube.
Internet download speed is 8MBPS and 2MBPS upload.
The shower take a minute or two to heat up, but nothing uncommon when compared to other locations we stayed at.
The air conditioning works extremely well, able to cool the entire room down within 5 minutes of being turned on. It is also quite silent.
There is a small bar fridge in the room, but no minibar or snacks (drinks are at the bar, and snacks can be bought from the store down the street). Drink prices were very reasonable.
In all this is a wonderful little hotel and I look forward to staying here next time we’re in Puerto Escondido!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful hotel. Fluffy towels, nice linens, comfortable beds, good A/C, nice TP and shampoo/conditioner/body wash/hand soap provided. I loved it. We stayed in the the "master suite black" and it was gorgeous. The only thing I missed (and it was minor) was a microwave - had a beautiful oven top which was less helpful when we wanted to slightly warm up some pastries. I'm sure if we weren't so lazy we could have made it work!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has the potential to be amazing! The rooms are huge and the pool is lovely. I would say it just has a few teething problems at the moment which can easily be fixed:
- when there is building work done on the property, inform the guests- a warning would instantly ease the pain of hearing drilling during an afternoon nap
- check in process- explain the amenities to the guests, what’s on offer at the bar, times pool is open, maybe even a welcome drink- we just got handed a key which just made it a bit harder to figure out what was going on
- get on top of noise around the pool- as all rooms lead straight onto the pool it’s quite important that guests aren’t playing their own music, or sitting up late chatting in the pool area- not a big deal but would be quite easy just to say pool area is only open between certain hours and get staff to shut any noise down after a certain time
- bathrooms have poor ventilation
I think once these things are on top off it will be amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Couldn’t love this place more! The owners are amazing and helped us out when booking.com messed up our booking. They were helpful, with anything we needed, friendly and chill. The bar is a great asset if you want a morning coffee or drink.
The location is on top of a hill connected to the busy part of La Punta but with it being on a hill the hotel is super quiet. You can walk 5 minutes to the bars and restaurants and getting a cab from here is easy.
The pool is refreshing and great to sit around. The rooms are really nicely decorated and clean with a working fridge and new feel. Can wait to come back!
