Casa Caleta - 48350 Puerto Vallarta

My stay at Casa Calita was the BEST travel experience I've had--hands down! Pictures don't do the place justice because it was a beautiful home with a breathe taking! The staff gave us 5 star service and made our trip an unforgettable experience. Our bartender, Ivan, went above and beyond and anticipated our needs and exceeded our expectations. Our travel club will recommend this house to all of our friends!

Amazing experience. Booking was very easy and great experience and the host was super friendly and attentive and the house was impecable all around! The chef was great and the views can only talk for themselves. Overall amazing.

We were visiting with a group of friends from Mexico City. Excellent house, in a perfect location in Puerto Vallarta. Everything was perfect, from the booking to the check out! Would definitely stay here again!

If I I could give a zero star rating, I would. Our group of friends reserved Casa Caleta one year in advance. Two weeks before we were set to arrive we found out our trip was not on their calendar and the house was booked by someone else. We had to scramble to find a new house to rent for 8 people. I can’t imagine if we would have arrived in Mexico with no place to stay. The owner or manager was terrible. He took no responsibility for his mistake - instead, blamed us. Beware.

If you visit Puerto Vallarta, Casa Caleta is definitely the place to stay. The beach front ocean view is breathtaking and the house itself is absolutely stunning. The attention to detail is unparalleled and the customer service is incredibly attentive when it comes to any reservations for excursions, etc. This was definitely a vacation to remember.

We booked our stay at Casa Caleta one year in advance of our travel. When I tried emailing to ask about the details of our stay- about two weeks before travel- the owner said they basically forgot about us and had double booked us. Never an apology. Never taking any responsibility for his error. And we still don’t have our 50% deposit back. Casa Caleta is a beautiful property with a great staff- but I will never book anything that this guy owns again. (update- the owner has refunded our deposit. *applause* However, he still places the blame on us for only depositing 50%. We were NEVER asked for the remaining balance, nor told when to send it. We were also never told we had been cancelled. We found out...when we contacted them. (because we were forgotten due to lack of organization)) If anyone would like to see copies of contracts and communication, I am happy to share. :) )
