★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food fresh and lovely presented. Table settings are done in style and real, fresh flowers on the tables. Small seeting area inside, but we always sit outside to have a view onto the Plaza Machado. 2nd best Restaurant on my list. Very nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited for dinner on a Friday evening. The appetizers were the best thing we ordered: Caesar salads, fried calamari and fried mozzarella cheese. The calamari was not served hot - seemed as though it was prepared ahead of time and kept warm. For the main course we ordered: ribeye steak, lasagna and pepperoni pizza. The ribeye steak was really bad - looked slimey and tasted strange not like beef (not edible). The lasagna was obviously reheated from frozen - did not taste good. The pepperoni pizza was decent but nothing special. My advice is to go elsewhere - this restaurant is not worth the money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are restaurants that don’t get much attention at all. In fact, if I wasn’t walking by this place, I wouldn’t even have known about it. Gaia, Casa 46 and Pedro y Lola are mostly the chatter when talking about Plaza Machado restaurants.
The color of the sauce the lasagne sits in, is pumpkin colored. Okay, not what I was expecting but okay. It is molten lava hot. Unable to taste anything, I can judge by the gummy consistency, this may be tough going.
It looks like the whole dish was built in a blender then molded into shape, like a McNugget. It’s no wonder it’s served with a spoon.
It’s not terrible. Maybe it’s not their best dish but it’s not so bad that I’ll write the place off in the future. At least the Pacificos were super cold.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cold prepared food, poor service, unmanaged staff. Don't be fooled. 10% 'optional service fee' added to total when it's a larger order. I gave them two chances. Ate on different nights. My advice to other tourists is to eat elsewhere. There's plenty of better options.
