La casa es muy linda, la decoración también, las habitaciones muy cómodas, cada una con baño propio. Solo tiene un lugar de estacionamiento dentro de la casa, hay otro espacio una calle atrás, quizá es seguro pero da un poco de intranquilidad tener que caminar por la noche en una calle sola y no tener acceso directo al auto.
Servicio:
Al inicio fue bueno, nos recibieron amablemente, al llegar se les solicitó el desayuno del día siguiente y nos dijeron (en ese momento) que había que solicitarlo con anticipación (más de un día, supongo). Lo cual NO se nos explico al momento de la reservación. No hubo mayor problema y resolvimos lo del desayuno del día siguiente.
Todo iba bien, nos vendieron la idea de que al rentar toda la casa, no funcionaría como hotel, por lo tanto no habría personal y podíamos disponer de la casa cómodamente. Sin embargo, a la mañana siguiente había MUCHÍSIMO ruido desde muy temprano en la lavandería y cocina. Nos asustamos por tanto ruido pues, repito, nos habían dicho que no habría personal. Entraban personas a cocinar, a servirse café con nosotros ahí. (Pero el desayuno que solicitamos no era posible porque no habría personal ?)
Se les hizo saber la situación y no hubo explicación alguna...
En resumen el lugar es muy lindo pero el servicio deja mucho que desear.
Appearance:
The house is very nice, the decoration too, the rooms very comfortable, each with its own bathroom. It only has one parking space inside the house, there is another space one street back, maybe it is safe but it gives a bit of uneasiness to have to walk at night on a single street and not have direct access to the car.
Service:
At the beginning it was good, they welcomed us kindly, upon arrival they were asked for breakfast the next day and they told us (at that time) that it had to be requested in advance (more than a day, I suppose). Which was NOT explained to us at the time of reservation. There was no major problem and we resolved the breakfast the next day.
Everything was going well, they sold us the idea that by renting the whole house, it would not work as a hotel, therefore there would be no staff and we could have the house comfortably. However, the next morning there was a LOT of noise from very early in the laundry room and kitchen. We were scared by so much noise because, I repeat, they had told us that there would be no staff. People came in to cook, to serve themselves coffee with us there. (But the breakfast we requested was not possible because there would be no staff ?)
They were made aware of the situation and there was no explanation ...
In summary the place is very nice but the service leaves a lot to be desired.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nos encantó. Desde la maravillosa atención, la armonía en el lugar, la limpieza de la habitación y la comodidad de la cama. El desayuno muy completo y delicioso, todo fresco y preparado en el momento. Un plus enorme fue que nos aceptaran con nuestras mascotas, y hay un parque muy cerca para llevarlas a pasear. El estacionamiento queda a una calle pero para nosotros no fue problema. En general, nos sentimos casi como en casa, una grata experiencia.
We loved it. From the wonderful attention, the harmony in the place, the cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the bed. The very complete and delicious breakfast, everything fresh and prepared at the moment. A huge plus was that they accepted us with our pets, and there is a park very close to take them for a walk. Parking is one street away but it was no problem for us. In general, we felt almost at home, a pleasant experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place to stop and have a few nights there. It is relatively a small hotel, but big on quality and service. Better than the "big name" hotels. The room we got "el Cameron" was very comfortable and the bathroom very well though and big! It is close to the center of the town and even within walking distance from the bus station. I recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great little hotel! It's very clean, the beds are very comfortable and the sheets are super soft. The staff is amazing and made us feel like family. They played with our nine month old baby so we could eat breakfast and he loved being with them! We highly recommend Casa Catalina.
