★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pieces produced by Carmen of Casa Clavel which I saw in person and in photographs were below standard. The wood on this one piece in particular had not been properly finished and was rough to the touch. She should also know that exposed hardware should match. She only ridiculously argued that wood furniture was always rough and never finished the piece even though we gave her more than enough time to make the adjustments. She attempted to deliver it twice more without the needed changes.

Please read her response to get an idea of the bizarre behavior I’ve had to deal with for months. She acts as if her pieces hadn’t been rejected and that she hadn’t been fired.
My experience having Carmen, owner or Casa Clavel decorate my home has been excruciating. She provided me with a proposal including photos of pieces to be purchased or made and attached you can see an example of what was promised and what was attempted to be delivered.
Also, she required that I pay a significant portion of the budget upfront. That was a huge mistake on my part.
I’ve hired an attorney to help resolve this matter as she owes me over $76,000mxp .If I could give less than one star, that would better reflect the huge disappointment and loss of money I’ve experienced having to deal with this person.
