Muy buen hotel. La comida es lo mejor, muy muy muuuy buena. La habitación es pequeña y el baño aunque está muy bonito, la regadera está mal diseñada y sale mucha agua. El cuarto no tiene mucha ventilación.
Very good hotel. The food is the best, very very very good. The room is small and the bathroom, although very nice, the shower is poorly designed and a lot of water comes out. The room doesn't have much ventilation.

The location: Incredible. Everything is super close, you can walk. The food is rich but not for all tastes, it is a little more gourmet, I loved it. The room I was in was comfortable, the bathroom was somewhat uncomfortable, too small. But overall the place is cozy.

Our room faced a restaurant, directly instead of a window, it had a cubicle with a hammock facing the restaurant (for which we paid extra as it was considered a terrace) The room smelled a lot like fried food from the restaurant, in addition to the noise from the street you can hear music at full volume from two mixed restaurants. The bed was fine.

This is a great corner of the city. It is not within the center of Oaxaca, but still has a good location. We got a very small room. The bathroom does not have a complete partition, so when you take a shower, the ENTIRE bathroom is wet. They offer very good details, a pleasant smell in the room, a pitcher of water with a herb that gives it a special flavor. Ear plugs! Super! Your restaurant is highly recommended! It's delicious, and in our rate of 2100 pesos per night, it includes breakfast. It has a small and cozy gallery, as well as a mini pool. The attention...also VERY GOOD!

A wonderful experience at Casa de Arte, a nice and clean room, silence, great breakfasts made with love, and helpful people. The courtyard with swimming pool is quiet and full of flowers.

We loved our stay at Casa de Arte! Where do I even begin? It's in a quiet neighborhood approximately 2 km north of Centro (trust me you'll want the exercise with how much good Oaxacan food is everywhere and the quiet is nice if you have to wake up early for something---Reforma gets quiet early, Centro can stay loud late into the night). The hotel is chic and adorable, and also functions as an art gallery for local artists, there are so many beautiful paintings, and I believe most of them are for sale. Our room was the perfect size, cozy, and cool. We loved the giant shower head and the ample shower space. Mixtu, the restaurant was amazing, and we regret only being able to get our included breakfasts about half of the time (early tours, early flight, etc). We flew in on a red eye, and were so appreciative that they let us check in early and eat breakfast our first morning. I know it's based on availability, but this was one of many examples of stellar customer service. Lisbeth (wait staff in the restaurant) was a delight. She was prompt, friendly, and had so many recommendations for us. The daytime hostess, Brenda was a shining star. There is only one other time in my lifetime of travel that I've received such amazing customer service as a hotel guest. Brenda truly went above and beyond the call of duty. During my stay in Oaxaca, the temporary crown for my tooth fell out. At the end of her shift, she hailed a cab, and took me to her dentist who was able to get me in, and see me same day, right at the very end of the day. Casa de Arte is one of the best hotels I've stayed at in the world, they will do just about anything to ensure their guests are happy, healthy, and cared for. Don't think twice, just book Casa de Arte for your perfect Oaxaca vacation.

Casa De Arte is absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond in service. The room was spectacular and the size of the hotel is great, only several rooms. The attached restaurant is absolutely delicious and the breakfast included for me was incredible. Javier and the other front desk employees are amazing human beings. they went above and beyond during a hard time I had while staying there. I received upsetting family news and Javier gave me a great hug and some dessert, he treated me like family. thank you again for an amazing time, I will be booking with you again and again. 12/10

Excellent value, super clean and nice smelling rooms and bathrooms. We had a room with hammock which was appreciated. Nice amenities and thoughtful touches - I’d say more than the usual - with extensive choice for filling included breakfast and all day options for good food and cocktails as reasonable prices. Fridge, unlimited purified water, ice cold a/c and being able to phone from room for room service were appreciated - the latter not being common in a small boutique hotel. About a 15 minute easy (straight) walk or 5 minute/50 peso DiDi to historic center which some people complain about - but to me this makes no sense since it is something you can see clearly before booking and brings the price down a lot - a hotel of this quality in the center would be at least 50% - 100% more. It’s also across the street from an amazing local seafood place and a block from the only Starbucks in town (If you are in to that sort of thing while in Mexico). Pool area was small but cute and refreshing and never got crowded. Would hands down stay here again in Oaxaca and not bother to look anywhere else because it’s not worth double the price for this quality to stay in the center unless you are only in Oaxaca for one night (we were there for six this time). Also very instagram friendly. Great staff as well.
