The truth is there are good products, but the prices are very inflated, the same quality, you can find it in other places for less than half, I do not return to that store and I do not recommend it.

Bad experience, I bought a amaca that according to them is matrimonial and when I get home it is clearly individual, I wrote to their Facebook page and they tell me that this is the size and that to change I must make a difference ... what a shame of place, they cheat to the tourist

We bought 2 linen shirts / blouses and totally fell for the scam of a 70 year old man charging more than double the value of the products. How sad that they have no choice but to scam tourists. We can only learn not to trust people. With saying that even at the airport it is cheaper. ??♀️

The prices are much higher than what they really offer in their product, I was in a hurry to return to my destination, I later realized that the price was much higher, I see the comments and I think the same thing happened to several of us, in my case for not having the time to look for more options.
I feel robbed in some way, I would never recommend them, let alone return. Unfortunate because it is a very beautiful state and with very nice people in general nice in general.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not buy from this shop. We purchased a hat from this shop. The hat lasted two hours. Prices are high and quality is bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unlike several of the places that we went to of this ilk, they at least list some prices for their goods which are higher than the street vendors and in the Mercado, but much lower than the fancy stores that sell similar type products.
The sales person was able to educate us on three of the most commonly purchased items. For the guayaberas shirt, they carry the original yucutan Sisal shirts which should not be confused with the linen or the cotton varieties. Have the vendor show you all three so that you can handle each and decide how much you want to spend. Keep in mind that many of the shirts that you purchase are produced in China especially the ones that you find for much less.
The purchase of the panama hat is an entirely other experience. It is similar to purchasing diamonds. Individually very difficult to determine what exactly you have but one side by side you can easily notice the difference between a regular panama hat and a extra fine hat. Again, if you are just looking for “the look“ and just purchase an inexpensive one for $10-$20 from almost any vendor. If however you want a fine hat you will need to shop around and make your own decision on how much you want to spend. I was offered anywhere between $10 and $250 and for the general consumer doesn’t wear hats all the time it’s almost impossible to tell what the value of any given hat should be. Vendor at the store, at least educated me enough where I felt obligated to purchase“ a hat.
The third product was your obligatory hammock. By now the heat of the store is slowly melting away and my eyeballs began to cross. There are many choices with hammocks as with the shirts and the panama hats. There are many levels. And again the vendors at this particular store made clear delineation‘s so that you can make the best decision.
Ultimately, the shopping experience needs to be fun. And you just need to be aware of not to spend too much money for products that seem to have a complicated story.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got tricked into going into the shop by a guy presenting as a well meaning local telling us about Mayan crafts. Be wary of these “salesmen” wondering around the square opposite. Nonetheless the products do appear to be genuine and the staff seem very knowledgeable. Not sure the prices are the most competitive and time will tell if the items last. You can definitely haggle and don’t accept the first price offered.
