 All good except that they did not give me a key to enter the night and I was about to sleep outside in the cold of San Cristobal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We found this wonderfully welcoming friendly family run hotel when we arrived in San Cristobal de Las Casas in January 2015.
It is a very pretty hotel decorated inside with beautiful Calla Lilies. There is a roof terrace with table, chairs and a hammock and the most fantastic views of the town all around and the mountains beyond, which you can also see from the the rooms.
The rooms are very clean and nicely furnished and they provide extra blankets in the rooms as it can get cold at night.
We felt that our things were safe while we were out and didn't feel the need to take all valuables with us, as we had in other places around Mexico, because the family live downstairs.
They do provide breakfast but we went out for a fresh juice each morning from a street vendor. You also get a front door key and can come in and out as you please. Wifi was available.
It was so lovely there that we stayed the entire week and even extended our stay a couple more nights. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here, We're not going to stay anywhere else when we return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my go to hotel. I've stayed here many times. Clean comfortable great owners and staff. The roof deck has a great view of the city, I even watched a great meteor shower on a couple nights. Highly recommend!
