Great hostel , real chill and nice place for backpackers. Good value for money with nice dorms and a small breakfast included.

BAD: - showers drains were clogged, always ended up having a puddle after 2 mins of running water. - Beds are dangerous. The top beds doesn’t have much safety or stoppers. You can probably fall and break your neck if not careful. - The bottom ones are kinda dangerous too, low height, careful about hitting your head when getting up. - Location is 15 min walk to zocalo/andador touristico street, so I wouldnt say it is a good location considering it adds up (30mins of your time/energy to and back from the center). GOOD: - friendly hardworking staff, did their part to keep the place clean each day. They changed garbages multiple times a day - had breakfast included

I stayed here for a week and a half and I really enjoyed my stay! The staff was really friendly and accommodating. Everything was really clean despite there being remodeling.

The Rooms are nice. There is no warm water on the first floor if someone showers downstairs. Wifi doesn't work well inside the Rooms. Breakfast is ok but not the best.

The place in general is clean, the staff is friendly and they help giving information, the breakfast is included (continental breakfast) enough restrooms. Good prices. Only one thing, they seems not to have a schedule for to keep silence.

A beautiful, lovely hostal with nice private rooms and a great courtyard/roof terrace. Payment in cash or credit card, there is a fee for paying with card (I think maybe 5%). We reserved on their website and stayed in the El Hilo room (two double beds) and the room was super clean, spacious with a wardrobe, and nice airy bathroom. Great shower with hot water too. The breakfast in the courtyard was basic but tasty, eggs with toast and fresh fruit. Leaves enough room for a second street food breakfast later in the morning :) (try the donuts La Vega near the Zocalo, across from Hotel Aurora!!) The kitchen is nice though you can't use it in the mornings while they are serving breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome (communication in Spanish) and overall a good family-friendly vibe, quiet and no annoying music. Most of the other guests when we stayed were other female travelers.

Stayed 5 nights at Don Pablo’s and enjoyed our stay on the whole. Few criticisms are that one of the managing staff members is extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming to the point where it was uncomfortable to be around him. Luckily the front desk ladies were amazing, helpful with changing our booking, spoke good english and gave us recommendations. The rooms were extremely hot and the wifi was hit and miss. Positives were the location, the facilities which we made use of the everyday, especially the roof terrace with sun lounges and tables and chairs. Kitchen had basic utensils but they wouldn’t let us use salt & pepper which was strange. The included breakfast was a bonus. It was a beautiful place, very green, cosy and the layout was cool. Would be great if there were yoga mats / pool table / pool. Would stay again :)
