★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esta casa es famosa porque en ella se dio posada a Alexander Humboldt, famoso explorador que visitó la Nueva España durante los primeros años del siglo XIX y cuya carrera hoy en día es reconocida en todo el mundo.
Albergo al investigador peruano Carlos Montúfar y al botánico francés Aimé Bonpland, quienes acompañaron a este personaje alemán en diferentes exploraciones.
Actualmente es ocupada la casona por un negocio de comida y tacos.
Al parecer no muchos se han enterado de la importancia histórica de el lugar ....
This house is famous because it was home to Alexander Humboldt, a famous explorer who visited New Spain during the first years of the 19th century and whose career is recognized throughout the world today.
I house the Peruvian researcher Carlos Montúfar and the French botanist Aimé Bonpland, who accompanied this German character on different explorations.
The house is currently occupied by a food and taco business.
Apparently not many have found out about the historical importance of the place ...

A este expedicionario alemán, los mexicanos le debemos muchos hallazgos. Lamentable que la historia olvide personajes así y está casa hoy este abandonada.
I stopped by so many times here, and despite the plaque in place, I never stopped to read. There is no doubt that routine consumes us and in a way, blinds us by the places we walk
We Mexicans owe this discovery to this German expeditionary. Unfortunately that history forgets characters like this and this house is abandoned today.
