★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bonito y emblemático edificio, vale toda la pena que un guía de turistas local te cuente la historia del lugar. Desafortunadamente no nos permitieron pasar para ver los famosos murales, esperemos que pronto se puedan visitar otra vez

Desde su habitación en la parte superior, se dice que doña Josefa Ortiz dio aviso con taconazos a Ignacio Pérez alcalde de cárceles, al tiempo que ella bajaba a la puerta principal para encontrarse con él e informarle que la conspiración había sido descubierta.
Actualmente es sede del Palacio de Gobierno queretano.
