Noisy on the upper rooms but with a great ocean view. The lower 2 rooms are quiet with a garden view. The owner Aladino is super friendly and happy to help.

the quality of the bed was nice but its was like a cabana, so as it it close to the road, it was really noise.... And i saw a mouse in the night ... Beside that, nice view !!

Simple room with no air con. Spotlessly clean. All staff is amazing from top to bottom. Great wifi, hot water, super close to Zicatela Beach. The real highlight of Casa de la Gente Nube is the restaurant. Hector provides amazing service. The food here is the best I had in Puerto Escondido. Absolutely fantastic.

This was a really comfortable, super relaxed place to stay. The rooms were basic, but as described, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. They had just started offering breakfast when we visited which was simple but really tasty and cheap plus free coffee. It was in a banging location too and the staff were lovely so I would highly recommend this place.

We reserved a room through booking.com and were charged 50% right away. Cancellation was meant to be free if cancelled more than 7 days in advance. We waited 3 weeks for the reimbursement of the 104 Euros. After a reminder from our side the owner wrote to us that they can't reimburse our credit card and want to send the money through paypal. We received 93 Euros through paypal, as the owner made us pay the charges. I wonder how many people forget that they got charged in the first place when they booked. On top of loosing money we also lost time in trying to get the money back. Please be aware when you book this place!

One of the best places I stayed at in Mexico. The beds are extremely comfy, they have hot water, very good internet which was important for me as I did home office. I felt at home there. They offer also yummi breakfast and it's a short walk to Zicatela Beach. My first night I stayed in one of the accomodations close to the street which was hard to sleep for me, but they made it possible for me to switch and then I slept perfect. My boyfriend and I stayed for just over a week at Casa De La Gente Nube during our travels of Mexico and felt extremely welcome there. We very kindly offered to have our room ungraded by the owner as it was available during our time there. Both the first and the second rooms were very comfortable and had lovely sea views breaking through a canopy of native trees - the sunsets from which were spectacular. Rooms were clean and maintained well during our stay and a small breakfast buffet was on offer each morning for a very reasonable price. The hotel is family run and that gives the place its welcoming and friendly vibe. The owner himself was a legend, a super chilled guy who spoke great English and who was more than helpful during our time there - at the end of our stay he even gave us a lift to the bus station after struggling to get hold of a taxi! We were offered a scooter to rent during our stay at a rate far cheaper than any of the other rental places in the area which made getting around to all the different spots and beaches a dream. Although Zicatala beach was only an easy 2 minute walk away which was really convenient. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for somewhere that’s got a good vibe, great location and won’t break the bank!
