One of the Best Places on Playa Troncones - I have stayed there several times over the years and every time is better than the last. The property is immaculately clean, the Staff are super friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. everything about the place is awesome.

This one of the best places on the planet! This was probably my 10th time down there for an extended stay. Although I miss my Wife and kids when I go on these surf trips, I really never want to leave. What a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. The stars shine brightly and the only noise you hear at night is the light breeze tickling the palm trees and the sound of crashing waves. The property itself is always immaculate with beautiful plants and flowers everywhere. My favorite place to stay is in the 2nd story room of the mini villas. The view is breathtaking, overlooking the pool and the Pacific Ocean. A gentle breeze sweeps through the open air portion of the unit to keep things nice and cool. If it is hot there's alway AC available inside the suites. The surf and fishing was great, as usual, and the water was a balmy, El Nino influenced 86 degrees. If you're looking to get away from it all but don't want to skimp on luxury, this is you place. Nestled in the sleepy fishing village of Troncones it's like a land that time forgot.

Tierna and I have been going to Troncones for over ten years, we love the town, the people and have made many friends that we see every time new go there. Staying at Casa de la Sirena is like going and staying with friends that have a really great place on the beach, the staff has no turn -over and we are always happy to see them and catch up on what has happened since last year. The location is perfect, everything is within easy walking distance. Mike and Debbie have done a fabulous job making everybody feel at home.

No BS here, I've been to Casa de la Sirena 6x in the past 5 years. Honestly, Debbie's place is incredible and 5 star!!! The property, rooms and privacy are all first class. The beach front access, views and sounds of the crashing waves 24/7 were simply phenomenal! It's was like your own private house right there on a very large private beach. From first arriving, the property is secluded from street view by a large gate. Behind these gates is where you will the gardens which, are kept immaculate throughout its entire property. Even during the "buggy" season I've never experienced signs of crawling bugs for a tropical area (impressive). They even have a beautiful large yoga platform for daily practice if that's your thing. The rooms have always been extremely clean and comfortable with A/C, if needed, and the Villa patio areas are extremely spacious and comfortable. Another great perk was free WiFi access throughout the property, which works great and has a very strong signal for keeping in touch with the real world via pool side. The pool is always super clean with comfortable lounge chairs and fresh water shower at your disposal. . Beach access couldn't be any closer as its right there on the other side of the pools mini wall separating the grounds from the beach . Its so nice to cruise out in the afternoon for a sunset walk or in the morning with a cup of coffee and watch the ocean. In addition, you can walk the beach to a few restaurants in either direction for fantastic meals and drinks. As for the staff, Humberto is always on site, but rarely seen (which was nice). . Seriously, If you're planning a trip anywhere near the Troncones area I'd highly recommend staying in Troncones and at Debbie's place - Casa De La Sirena...I promise you won't regret it. We have been to "Casa de la Sirena" at least 6 times . It's our annual "Beach Fix!" It's our little secret hide away, love that dynamic Pacific right in front of us. Warm water, yummy fresh food. Great clean accommodations, , attentive friendly personnel.Totally safe! Booked already for next year. Its plush greenery, resident Iguanas high in the coconut trees, whales blowing and breaching beyond the breaking surf, trails for hiking or biking makes "Casa de la Sirena" an ideal place for my very active wife and pure relaxation for me.
