Excellente maison d'hôtes, avec un rapport qualité-prix imbattable Jorge et un hôte remarquable toujours souriant toujours la a demandée comment on va si on n'a besoin ce quelque choses je recommande vivement à tout le monde de venir ici il y a une excellente wiffi, une cuisine très bien équipée, magnifique vue depuis le roof-top, chambre confortable, tout est très propres très bien entretenu proche du centre ville mes au calme de tout

Hey, Casa de Colores ist ein super Hostel, wo man seine eigene Privatsphäre genießen kann und zeitgleich überall auf Kontakt mit den anderen Bewohnern trifft. Super nette leute, genügend Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, und alles leicht zu händeln. Kann diesen Ort nur weiter empfehlen.

Un lugar cómodo que te hace sentir en casa, muy seguro y muy cerca del mercado y el centro. Very comfortably place that make you feel like you're in home. Very safety and near the market and center.

Great place with affordable private rooms. A bit out of the fray but a 30 peso taxi ride from downtown. Nice kitchen, nice host, hot water, internet, and warm blankets

Stayed here a couple of months, Jorge the guy running the place is very nice and helpful. He has a lot of plans for the place and I like how he rebuilt the kitchen so there is a lot of space and two fridges. The terrace is really nice when it is sunny.

Originally I booked 2 nights at this hostel, through hostel world. Through the app each night was only supposed to be 8$ each night.. When I arrived they told us the room was not available for 2 days so we only had one night. There also was no bed in the room so they put together a makeshift bed at the last minute. The room was absolutely freezing. & the next morning when we were getting ready to pay and leave there was some confusion about the payment. I had already put down a deposit from hostel world which was 2.50. So for one night I should've only paid 5.50 for the one night. Some how I ended up paying 12$ total, for a freezing room that was not ready. Besides this experience the staff was really nice

Casa de los Colores, one of my favorites hostels I stayed at in Mexico. I came for one day but ended op staying for a very long time, also because San Cristobal is such a magical place. The hostel has a great location , 10 minutes walking from the fruit and vegetable market and 15 minutes from the vibrant city centre. The hostel has simple private rooms with all you need. There is a communal kitchen with all the utilities you need. The showers are hot and clean as is the kitchen. Jorge the owner is a great guy who always is looking for upgrading the place. He did a lot in the time I was there. He is super friendly and helpful, and then there is Mayra his right hand, always there in an excellent mood, nothing is to much for her. With a smile on her face she keeps the whole place clean for the guests. It also has the best roof terrace in San Cristobal, with an amazing view off the mountains. Super colorful and cosy with all the plants and let's not forget the two cute cats, La Princessa and Candy, always there to hangout with you! A perfect place to meet travelers from all over the world and have a good time drinking a beer on the roof in the hot San Cristobal sun. It is not a party hostel but very social and quiet in the evenings. Perfect value for money. I had an amazing time and will definitely be back one day. Thank you, Jorge and Mayra, Hasta luego.
