acudí a la dirección que consta en internet y estaba cerrado. Una persona de un comercio aledaño, me informó S que este lugar es muuuy privado y debes hacer reservación. Con eso se me quitaron las ganas de regresar.

The French Chef who cooks in his own beautiful colonial house turned restaurant on special evenings, is a master of French-Mexican fusion cuisine, having lived in the Yucatan Peninsula for many years, and especially in Campeche. Besides having just headed a successful gastronomic food fair in 2016 where top Mexican chefs were invited to Campeche, he is also closely connected to the new Alliance Française who just opened its doors in Campeche. Not to mention his work as a trainer of local chefs and restaurant personnel. Back to the food: delicate and original, excellent choice of accompanying wines, and wonderful personalized hospitality. For us ( my husband and I have been spending every winter in Campeche for some years ), it does not get any better than La Casa de Los Murmullos for excellent dining in the loveliest of settings.

Gorgeously appointed decor. Very friendly staff. Called ahead to specify that our group was vegetarian and even gave a long(ish) list of things that our party did not like to eat. We received a fantastic 7 course meal tailored exactly to our needs. Phenomenal.

The most delicious well kept secret in Campeche, this experience alone is worth the trip to the walled city, absolutely fabulous dining on par with the best in the world.

Unbelievably amazing! Such an amazing experience! The house is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the whole thing is so memorable. We had macaroons with xcatic chilis, the best veal Wellington I have ever had, a delicious and very unusual soft crab with black recado, financiers and caramelized oranges, and chocolate mousse. The house is worth the visit, the furniture and decor is a beautiful combination of very French inspired pieces and regional antiques.

Visiting Campeche we had on our bucket list a visit Casa De Los Murmillos for their exclusive dining experience. The experience surpassed our expectations from the moment we reached the door, located in a his house in the historical center of Campeche we were received by the chef Patrick Cros in a very friendly and professional manner in a cozy ambience. The 7 course menu was, as you can expect from a chef at this level, full of culinary surprises and delicious flavors. The wine pairing they offered us with this seven course menu was outstanding taking us on a tasting travel from Mexican wine (white and red) to French red wine for our main course (lamb) and finishing of with licor and coffee. The price for this seven course menu with wine pairing was totally worth this outstanding experience and they deserve the reputation the have obtained over the years. Great service. The chef and the staff were very nice and friendly. Had a seven course menu that included lobster, scallops, cheeses, steak, pheasant, and 2 desserts. Different drinks and wines by the glass or bottle were available. The venue was gorgeous, an old house with great decorations. A one and only and a very pleasant and nice experience in Campeche.
