Opened in 2001, Casa de Mita offers service beyond expectation. With only 6 guest rooms and 2 penthouse suites, our dedicated, friendly staff focus on your every need. Nothing is a chore; our team can’t wait to serve you. We also have a masseuse and a professional cosmetologist available for facials, manicures, and pedicures. (Services must be scheduled.)
Picture yourself elegantly dining in a quiet, romantic setting, overlooking the beach. At this exclusive Punta Mita hotel, our chefs and servers take great pride in dazzling you with local as well as international flavors to fit all tastes and dietary needs. Our menus change daily to reflect and cherish the freshest local ingredients. Locally caught fish is brought in every day, our fruits and vegetables are organically grown, and fresh herbs are grown on-site.
We want your dining experience to be one of the highlights of your stay. We adhere to no strict meal times. Everything is on your schedule. Breakfast is served whenever you wake—8a or 12p, your choice! We serve up traditional breakfast foods: freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, assorted teas, homemade tortillas, bread, and pastries, eggs, waffles, pancakes, french toast, and anything else you may crave! In the afternoon, lunches lean toward traditional Mexican cuisine; you always have 2 or 3 choices daily. Nightly, dinner service begins as the sun is setting; sit down at a table overlooking the ocean and listen to the waves crash. Our menu features four- or five-course gourmet meals that we change daily and suit any palate. Special requests are encouraged and always welcome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Casa de Mita in January, 2019 and it was one of the best trips of our lives. Additional details are below, but I think the best recommendation I can provide is that when we checked in, my wife and I were the only first-time guests at the property. Everyone else had been there at least 3-5 times. One couple had been there for 15 years running. We are following their lead and have booked a return trip for 2020.
The service was impeccable, always attentive but also respectful of privacy. All of the staff were welcoming and personable: they take pride in their work and it shows. For example, on the first day, we left breakfast and read by the pool. After an hour or so, we asked for coffee. We repeated the same thing the second day, but I did not have to ask for the coffee: just about the time I was gearing up to go get it, someone came by the chair and asked if I wanted one. Same thing every day thereafter (and with the first margarita and Pacifico of the day). Further, the staff members were extremely generous with their time and attention, answering my random questions regarding local history, economy, etc.
The food and drinks were personalized and delicious, incorporating local products and recipes. The seafood was particularly special.
The beach is public, which we found to be a plus: my wife joined in a soccer game one afternoon. We preferred the feeling of being part of the country rather than walled off in a compound. We also felt very safe outside of the property. We walked the beach every day and even took a run into Punta de Mita.
I cannot recommend this place enough.

The property is so classy AND clean, the food is unbelievable, the beach is gorgeous, the staff beyond helpful. I never write reviews on google or yelp but I had to for this place. The all-inclusivity makes it so convenient and relaxing. Well worth the money!!!

Complete privacy on a white sand beach, comfortable rooms decorated with personal detail to the Mexican culture along with high end amenities, a staff that goes above and beyond to fulfill your every wish, delicious meals prepared by a personal chef who uses locally caught seafood and fresh produce, and top shelf liquor at your command. Treat yourself to a once in a lifetime experience, or keep coming back year after year like we do!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recovering from a difficult year of breast cancer (ok) , a partner’s death and two knee replacements ... i could cry - I have been so cared for and treated with kindness and served very excellent meals in such a peaceful home-like ( I wish) place .... i will return ... even the adorable little old dogs are shy and sweet ... as is the town...... perfect balance ... and I have traveled extensively! I cannot remember everyone’ s name.. not one who was not superb ... excellence & good management. I am grateful...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely incredible property with amazing design and staff. This is a true gem with loyal guests who have been coming for decades because once you are here you never want to leave. It's tucked away on a stretch of beautiful beach and truly feels like your own private beach home. It's easy to see why the staff become friends and even like family. Many have worked here for 16 years or more and they go above and beyond to make your stay a dream. The food is impeccable and the chef will create anything you'd like in addition to traditional dishes made fresh daily. What you get for the rate is also worth mentioning because it's all-inclusive but there is no sacrificing of quality by any means. They also have wonderful spa services on-site that are so well done and the property was built by an architect with a passion for the region and so the art, attention to detail, and Mexican accents throughout the property are so special and a photographer's dream. Casa De Mita is often called an oasis and it really is the ultimate place to unwind and reconnect. A definite must in Punta Mita!
