Casa del Angel - 62520 Tepoztlán

Estuvimos un fin de semana y definitivamente me pareció un lugar precioso para descanso, la atención que nos dieron desde nuestra llegada fue extraordinaria y siempre contamos con el apoyo de todo el personal, especialmente de Marcela la dueña, quien en todo momento nos ofreció un trato muy cálido, de verdad un gran ser humano. El hotel cuenta con todas las medidas de sanidad y todo muy limpio, los detalles del hotel lo hacen un lugar hermoso, brindándote una gran sensación de paz y armonía.

Amazing place! My family and I had a great experience. The place is so cozy you inmediatly feel like home. The gardens are lovely and you get the complete view of the Tepozteco. The owner is a marvellous host who’s always looking after her guests. They have really great food, specially the homemade berries jam and the bread. We would definately go back.

Our stay at Casa Del Angel far exceeded our expectations! The pictures online do it no justice. The whole place is impeccably clean and welcoming, and the views are stunning. The entire staff is so friendly and made us feel like family. Marcella, the owner, is so sweet and truly cares about her guests. The breakfast is great and the heated pool is a wonderful - you never have to leave if you don’t want to! The walk into town is a short (and, safe) walk - about 5 to 7 minutes. We come to Mexico City often and will be making the visit to Tepoztlán and Casa Del Angel a tradition. Highly recommended!

I have been visiting Tepoztlan since 2010 but have never found a place I wanted to return to. This time, however, my partner and I feel we hit the jackpot! The hotel is beautiful! It's a very short ride from the Tepoztlan bus terminal (served by Pullman de Morelos) and about a 15 minute walk to the town Zocalo (center). This is a wonderfully close, especially for a place with a pool, and it's mostly downhill from the hotel to the Zocalo with lots of shops along the way. You can get a taxi back to the hotel for about $2 - $3. The hotel is also IMMACULATE. There is not a thing out-of-place on this property. The bedding is extremely comfortable - fresh, clean, and white, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Marcella, the owner, is extremely kind and welcoming and is always on premises to ensure your stay is perfect. The grounds are kept in pristine condition, the pool is heated to about 93 degrees F, and the surroundings are serene and relaxing with lots of plants, flowers, and even a small coy pond. We were able to extend out checkout to 3pm by paying a fixed rate of 200 pesos per hour (after the 12pm checkout time). This was great for us as we could hang out by the pool on our last day! Breakfast is included and is extremely filling and delicious! That adds considerable value to the stay as you do not need to buy breakfast in the morning. At the end of your stay, you have the option to leave a tip for the staff on your card when you pay at checkout. This is much more convenient than having to constantly get change to tip staff (I think tipping is important). Our only quibble was a 300 peso corkage fee that they charge. That was more than our bottle of wine was worth! But they do have beer and mixed drinks on-sight, so you can order them during the day no problem and the prices are reasonable. It's perfect when you're sitting by the pool! Lastly, the room was completely silent - we heard nothing from other guests at all. The windows and sliding doors also all have screens, so no need to worry about mosquitos or other pesky insects. I'll definitely return with my mother and stepfather in a couple months and HIGHLY recommend anyone to stay at this gorgeous gem in Tepoztlan!

We had an incredible time at Casa del Angel. The premises are beautiful, charming and clean, and the customer service is the best it gets. The owner and all of the staff are incredibly thoughtful and go above and beyond for their guests. The food is spectacular too (as are the views!). One of our favourite places on earth!
