People working here in general were HORRIBLE except VICTOR who is the waiter, everyone else was trying to rub us with no proper service provided. It started with the first morning- they said the breakfast was at 8 but there was no one serving until 8:45, then we went to front desk to ask what’s happening, they said they changed the chef so the breakfast will start at 9am. There were lots of guests waiting in the restaurant to receive their breakfast so we were thoughtful enough to make the announcement on behalf of them. However, it didn’t end there, I had my 9am call hungry, thirsty and frustrated and after my call was over at 9:30, the breakfast wasn’t still there, I had to ask the waiter David “when it is arriving, we are waiting for 1.5 hr and I don’t wanna join my next call at 10 thirsty and hungry” to my big surprise, he said “it is not his problem that I have a meeting and I am thirsty and hungry and waiting for 1.5 hr, I just couldn’t come there and tell him what to do!!!!” Yes, I am not exaggerating, unfortunately we’ve witnessed this ugliness! It is so savage! Then at lunch time, we ordered a rib eye steak- it was rotten so we became sick. However, they claimed that we took a bite so they charged that to us, they didn’t say sorry, they didn’t bring anything else to compensate that!!!! Wait! It is not over yet! We asked for laundry in the morning, it had become 5 pm and we still hadn’t received ours clothes, we went to reception to ask and there was no one, then we went to the laundry room and saw our clothes were left there wet for hours and they were smelling really bad! We had to wash them in the bathroom sink and dry them in our balcony. This lady TAMARA was corrupted enough to ask money for what they did for the laundry but in reality, we did everything ourselves. We didn’t receive a full laundry service to pay for, when we refused to pay, they became ugly by claiming that they will check cameras to verify our words that if someone wasn’t at the front desk or the laundry. So all of a sudden we were attacked personally as being liars!!! This lady TAMARA also attempted to calculate the size and weight of the ribeye steak that we took 2 bites so we has to pay. What a PITY! We stayed in Mexico for one week and stayed in 3 hotels, all of them was similar to this one, very bad experience because of way that people are here. They see tourists as creatures to be RUBBED!

We have stayed at MIJ Hotel Le Reve in past and had reservations for this coming February 2022. They cancelled our reservation but will not refund our money. We try calling and they just hang up on us. MIJ Hotels will not return our emails. We heard from others that have stayed there recently and said Le Reve has gone down hill. They also visited this Puerto Morales location and said it looked run down and in bad shape. Nothing like the photos they have. They talked with some guests at the Puerto Morales hotel and they said the food was not very good. They did not have enough staff and had to wait a long time for everything. Staff was not very nice either. If you notice, there is no central MIJ Hotels phone or email to even contact them to complain. You have to deal directly with each hotel and good luck with that.

Amazing place, AMAZING STAFF and a beautiful beach view with entrance ..only thing is I don't think I'd be staying again.... Let me explain. 1- the road to get to the Hotel is damaged beyond imaginable , this makes getting in and out a huge hassle and also adds alot time to your overall commute from the hotel to the main road 2- the poor staff works tremendously long hours and unfortunately it seems like they aren't being treated well. As people were quiting left and right. ...Like I said amazing place 10/10 but if not revised I don't see people staying for a second time

We stayed here on the first day of the vacation. Arriving at night, even the lights did not work in the room. the hotel is let go without care. We paid enough to expect a well-maintained beach in front of the hotel and found a depressing landscape of putrid and nauseating sargasso mountains. They do nothing to fix the situation. At breakfast, when we asked for a little more fruit, we were told that we had to pay more Really bad money.

This place could be nicer but the management has let the place go. We stayed in room 202 on 3/26/22 Pros Large room Great view from room Large balcony Cons the faucets in the bathroom were all rusted out, there were rust spots on the bathroom mirror, one of the faucets was loose, the air conditioner was leaking water They only gave two towels and one was dirty Possible mildew stains on the bathroom ceiling Dirt spots on the curtain Curtain sheers were dirty Curtain falling off the hooks Short staffed No phone in room Not close to town Can’t swim in the water based on the hotel location

Me and my husband loved this place ! It’s a hideaway from hustle and bustle of Cancun Americanism. Small hotel with beach access and cozy looking. You will love it if you hate all inclusive, mainstream colossal hotels and still want to stay by the beach! America at the reception was so lovely too - Gracias America!

Great getaway place, authentic charming rooms. I loved the hammock. Not crowded. Access to the beach. The pool is not heated. There's a restaurant at the property, healthy food. The greatest part is super helpful staff who made my stay there.
