★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can't say better things about this B&B! It was quiet, clean, peaceful, and comes with the absolute best breakfast every morning. I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest staying here. Very central in the city and so gorgeous!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I stayed here during our time in Mexico City for our honeymoon, and we never run out of good things to say about Casa Emilia. The staff is attentive, kind, courteous, and respectful. You are taken care of from the moment you book your stay to the moment you depart. The location is wonderful! Close to many eclectic, delicious restaurants and coffee shops. You are also within walking distance to La Angel de la Independencia which is an extremely convenient Uber pickup/drop off spot. Lastly, the accommodations ? wow. 10/10 across the board. It can simply be described as minimalist luxury. Every aspect of this small boutique hotel has been curated to provide you with comfort and visual pleasure. The interior design coupled with a seamless integration of plants and fauna throughout each room was out of a high fashion magazine , but not to gaudy to distract from the simple pleasures of comfortable lodging. We are giddy to return! Thank you, Casa Emilia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros
The staff in particular Julio was excellent. He kindly let us shower when we arrived at the hotel in the very early hours. Also was very kind and understanding when the other half was sick and came to the room to give us a rehydration sachet.
Breakfast too was excellent - as good as any youll get in the city and lots of it!
Location wise really enjoyed where we were. It's not the trendy Roma or Condesa but a 40 min walk away from most places so was very central with loads of nice resteraunts around.
Cons
The main downfall and reason for the grade was the rooms. It was unbearable hot all of the time with no aircon and a fan that wasn't doing much. Oddly our room was constantly even hotter than outside so in the middle of the night when it was cooler outside it was a sauna in the room unfortunately making it very uncomfortable.
This was our fault as we didn't realise we booked the small room but it felt oppressively small with just a bed and no room for clothes or to maneuver. With a small window it was also very dark.
This isn't the fault of the staff or the facilities in the slightest but with the small, dark, boiling room we were very ready to leave by the end.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an amazing 5 day stay at this B&B. Breakfast and coffee every morning, a gorgeous shared space filled with plants and plush couches, and a relaxing rooftop area. The room was very comfortable. Just a 5 min walk from restaurants on Río Lerma (we loved Salon Ríos for classic Mexican- which has salsa dancing classes Wed-Fri starting at 9pm. Go early to get a good spot!) Would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Mexico City!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was expecting better for this B&B. In general it’s a pleasant place to stay but they can do better.
Breakfast is very tasty and they have variety.
The location is great. Near all the good restaurants and good areas to visit. The decor is very nice as well.
The whole house is quite dark. They should add more lights at least in the bathroom.
The deluxe room has a tiny double room. Too small to sleep comfortably in my opinion.
No A/C.
They did not fill up the toiletries for us, I had to ask the day after for them to provide soap, shower gel, etc as the containers were empty.
