Very warm and friendly staff! The hotel is super cozy and clean. Away from the center but not far, which gives you a balance of convenience and tranquility. Spacious bathroom, music system, and good breakfast are just a few among many highlights. Would love to come back and visit again.

We love everything about this place. Our two-bedroom apartment is beyond comfortable, with wonderful Mexican art, local pottery, attentive staff, and everything you could need. The view of Guanajuato is astounding. The wellness aspect includes a botanical garden for strolling, massages, an organic garden and even weekly yoga on the terrace. The host Javier is attentive and heels with anything you need. The pool is relaxing and refreshing. We heartily recommend Casa Estrella! Six stars!

Wow, what an incredible property, and if you haven’t been to Guanajuato, you MUST come here! My girlfriend and I are driving across Mexico, and after hearing from some well-traveled friends that we needed to see Guanajuato, we booked three weeks in Guanajuato City at an Airbnb in downtown. Before staying in the AirBnb, we decided to leave Guadalajara early and stay at Casa Estrella. I am so glad we did. I have stayed in hundreds of luxury hotels, unique AirBnbs, and bed and breakfasts, and Casa Estrella is one of my favorite places in the world—and I would say it was much nicer than many five-star properties I’ve stayed at and an incredible value. Our private villa had the most comfortable bed, a high-end kitchen, views of the entire city and landscape, the most helpful staff, a pool, and hot tub, and endless places to relax and take in the scenery. It was great to be able to safely park our car, do a bit of laundry, get a bottle of wine anytime we wanted, get help and advice from the staff and director, Javiar, and be able to live at home throughout the property (we got to make a romantic dinner to bring to the shared rooftop for views in every direction). We always felt like we had the entire property to ourselves. I had come across Casa Estrella earlier in my research but thought it might be too far from the city. Now I am writing from our centrally located Airbnb, which is beautiful, but I wish we had booked our entire stay at Casa Estrella! Whenever we had wanted to get to town, we messaged the front desk and had one within a few minutes. The drivers were all very friendly. The price was a few US dollars, and finding a taxi back to the property was easy (they all knew Casa Estrella). We had a wonderful, romantic stay. We were both able to get our work done (as digital nomads) with fast internet and the quiet that we’ve been missing in most places we’ve stayed in Mexico. I would recommend a more extended stay as our six nights were not enough! Casa Estrella could be a destination on its own and just so happens to be close to my new favorite place in Mexico, Guanajuato!

Staff is friendly and the room is clean. The view from the room was absolutely amazing. Since we don’t speak Spanish they helped us order taxis every time. Highly recommended for leisure trips and longer stays. It would be better if you have your own rental car because it’s a little far away from the historical center of the city. But overall it’s a very good place to stay.

You will definitely get a 5 star service here. Staff are helpful and welcoming more than any other place I've been in guanajuato. Beautiful hotel. Clean very nice view, heated pool with a great view. It's a little far from the historic center but totally worth staying there. I'm sure you will enjoy.

The most beautiful Casa with the most amazing views and incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. It’s a place that you just don’t want to leave. The manager, Javier speaks English wonderfully and is very friendly, a true host. The level of hospitality is astounding. The place is very pet friendly and our 50lb dog was welcomed with open arms. One of the apartments has a small fenced yard. We are already making plans to come back and stay for a month or more. All of the apartments and hotel rooms are equally beautiful with their own unique charms. If you are hesitating, don’t. Just book it.

We stayed in a beautiful room at our first stay in December of 2021. It had beautiful views of Gto. The staff was wonderful and the rooms were awesome. Beautifully decorated rooms. If you want a peaceful place away from the hustle and bustle try this place.
