It's a very beautiful place that's full of vegetation and flowers. The rates are affordable. It's close to the beach and restaurants too.

What a wonderful nice "loco" place! Like coming home in paradise

Gio, you were an absolute legend of a host! The whole atmosphere of the Casa was relaxed and welcoming. Truely felt like a home away from home. A great location with all the minor details covered, all the necessities for a pleasant stay. We loved the honesty system of the bar. Can’t recommended this place enough!

Our airbnb got cancelled en ending up staying at Gio's. What an amazing spot and owner. Very helpful and welcoming. The place is beautiful and has a great view. Also the rooms have everything you need and more. And the fact that you can use everything based on trust makes this an unique little spot. Thanks for having our (dutch) family. O and the breakfast place at the end of the street is the best.

Truly feels like home! We spent a month at Casa GIO, and have nothing to complain about at all. Every suite includes bathroom (ours was "shared", but we got the best view from our little balcony in exchange!), stove, utensils, fridge; was great to be able to cook for ourselves again! The garden is beautiful and well kept, with papayas and bananas growing alongside a variety of palms. Pool area is super clean, great for chilling with plenty of hammocks to read or take a nap on, plus Gio's own gym set up that he kindly lets everyone use. The bar functions under honor system, just write down what you take and pay at the end. You really get a sense of trust being here, Gio and his family are always close by and willing to help, share a nice chat or a local's tip or two. Good location 10-15 min from la Punta / beaches, we rented a scooter but our friends walked everywhere. The neighbors have chickens, so maybe consider ear plugs if the sounds of the country side might bother you. Overall, we had a fantastic time, and hope to come back sooner than later! A very nice place at La punta, puerto escondido. Gio and his wife are super hospitable. We didn't want to leave but we'll be back :)
