Their concierge did a fantastic job guiding us around town. From tours to a rental car. As far as the rooms the bed could use a bit more comfort & the A/C definitely needs work. Felt fresher outside our room. I give this place a 3.5

This place is pricey compared to other hotels in the area but it is worth it. I was in room 9 with 2 queen beds with sitting area. The ceilings must have been 15-20 ft high. Small balconies both from the bathroom and from the main room. Just like the rest of the city, the hotel keeps with its beautiful architectural details. However, in the rooms, the showers are a bit more modern. There is AC but it wasn't working during my stay. They provided 2 large fans instead. Nonetheless, the weather was quite pleasing so AC was not required for the most part. I removed one star also for 2 additional things that is probably not at the fault of the hotel but its part of the stay: (1) water temperature in the shower was very unstable and could be scalding hot or very cold from one second to the next. (2) the city/area has a sewage smell at night that resignates in the room even with the windows/doors closed. It's gone by late morning. Located right in the busiest square, area is quite exciting all day and night. Dies down between 12 am to 8 am. Traffic is crazy so it's better to walk everywhere. All amenities (banks, food, markets) are all within walking distance. I was here for a wedding and the reception was on the rooftop. Very great experience. Breakfast a la carte was part of the package and it was pretty great. I stayed at another hotel (rated 4.6 on Google) across the street on my first night and there is no comparison. You must stay here. Just to note, I drank their water from the restaurants. I think their drinking water is filtered as I had no reaction. They usually had one english speaking staff at front desk and restaurants. However all staff is very friendly and helpful.

The staff was extremely helpful and helped my fiancé and I truly enjoy our time in the city. The location is breathtaking, the views from the restaurant of the entire plaza is amazing and if you go up to the rooftop the view of the entire city is worth the stay alone. Thank you very an amazing experience. We will be back soon.

Reservo master suite con balcon. Ellos no tienen habitacion con balcon y cobran para cancelo. My reservation was for a master suite with a balcony. They did not have a room with a balcony available and charged a cancelation fee.

Broccoli Soup was awful. CHILE RELLENO WHAT HAPPEN TO THE CHEESE. They took forever to acknowledge us to see if we wanted to eat here. Slow service. Bread was delicious and fresh.

I had three master suites. One morning a man appeared in my 86 year old mothers room, having somehow unlocked the door with a magnetic key. I complained to the General Manager and was assured a complete investigation. I never heard back from that at all. I emailed them 3 weeks later and still have not heard a word. If you are concerned for your safety, this is NOT the hotel to stay at.

Place has great location for a first timer in Morelia, view to the Catedral. However service wasn't kind or friendly at all. Staff doesn't speak English if that's a requirement for you. Parking comes with extra charge even for guests and really overpriced. Restaurant is ok, not outstanding kitchen. Breakfast is a la carte, and they give you coupons to redeem it which was weird for a "luxury" accommodation Rooms are very elegant and give the colonial/historic vibe, however too dark if what you want is a space with good lighting There's definitely better boutique hotels at the same price or lower in the city.
