Casa Hipil - 97780 Valladolid

We stayed here for one weekend but easily could have stayed longer. The staff welcomed us with exceptional hospitality and the rooms and pool area were a lot nicer than expected. I would definitely come here again :)

Great place to stay near the center of town. There is a communal kitchen and a small pool. Friendly staff and laid back vibe overall. If your room is towards the front you will hear street noise in your room until the evening. Close to the bus station too

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Hipil. The family room was perfect for 2 adults and 3 kids. The room is cozy but comfortable and the courtyard is peaceful. The staff had excellent service and went out of their way to help us whether it was hunting down change or calling our laundry guy who was running late. The area is super walkable, eclectic and interesting. It was a perfect experience for our trip to Valladolid and Chichen Itza.

We loved everything about this hotel. We originally booked a double family room but on arrival decided to upgrade to the suite and it was perfect for our family of 4. The hotel is small and cosy, super clean, the garden is lush and the plunge pool cool and delicious. Great kitchen so you can self cater if you wish and the breakfast included with our rate was at a wonderful cafe just a few steps down the street. The staff are welcoming and wonderful. We stayed an extra night we loved Valladoloid and the hotel so much. A fantastic find in a magic town.

We absolutely hated this hotel, we booked a standard room for 4 nights but when we got to our room (room 1) it didn’t have a window, it had a window looking into a shop which mean you keep your curtain closed and had no natural light, for an overnight stay it wouldn’t of bothered me but for 4 nights, it wasn’t possible for us to stay here so we moved after the 1st night, we wanted a nice end to our holiday and this hotel wasn’t cutting it. The towels were stained and tatty looking, the pillow case also had a stain. It was also very loud, we could hear all the conversation in the reception area and it started as early as 6am. We asked if we could change and the guy said no but we heard him say to another person that he had 3 rooms left, we would of paid more for an upgrade if he had asked. We also found him a bit unfriendly.

Clean rooms and clean hotel. Pool was nice. Service was good and breakfast in the hotel next door rooftop was really good. Only thing missing is the bar or some kind of service like that. But other you are near of services of the city. All and all really good stay ?

Very solid hotel, nice staff and high level of cleanliness. Breakfast is included and hosted in the partner hotel across the street on the sun deck. Coffee is about okay, the hot cakes are delicious. The rooms themselves are quite small while the bed is amazingly huge. We loved the comfortable bed but a little more room for the luggage to be opened and a larger safe fitting an iPad would give the notch to a five star review calculating the fair pricing in. So a well done 4 star rating.
