El hotel es pequeño pero muy agradable, cuenta con valet parking gratuito para los huéspedes. Las habitaciones están de muy buen tamaño, cuentan con aire acondicionado etc. El staff es muy amable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever. Too expensive hotel but serving cheap breakfast. They charge you $300 for a night and breakfast is included. But they don’t tell you that only coffee, yogurt and bread is included in the rate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are repeat visitors to San Miguel but this was our first stay at Casa Hoyos. Loved it! Close walk to everything and not up crazy hills or down far away from the action. A tiny walk one direction to the Parroquia and a tiny walk another direction to the mercado and down into the artisan's market.
The location means there are amazing views from the rooftop patio but it also is set back off the street. San Miguel is loud at all times of day and night and in just about any location, but we found the noise level from the street to be greatly reduced. What you will hear in the evenings is the sound of the rooftop bar Bekeb but they close at a reasonable time and that is absolutely where you want to be anyway. Beautiful and the best cocktails I have literally had ever. No sugar sweet daiquiri here. Cannot recommend the carajillo or the beet (?!) cocktail any more highly. They were nice and full and I think if we had not been staying in the hotel we wouldn't have gotten in because we didn't have reservations. Truth be told the crowd was a little younger and hipper than us, but I cannot wait to come come back with a new outfit I want to estranar (show off for the first time) and pretend that I fit right in. Plus if you find yourself in your room prior to Bekeb closing time, the thoughtfully provided earplugs, noise reducing curtains and sound of the great air conditioning (we have found that cool is not always to be found in San Miguel rooms) will lull you right to sleep.
Staff was quite helpful but not hovering and if you are silly enough to book flights that require a 3:00 a.m. pickup to the airport they will keep you company while you wait. San Miguel is very safe anyways but Casa Hoyos staff made the experience even better.
