If you really want to have a rest in a Paradise, this is the place! You have your own beach as a a garden. The house is really comfortable ?

Amy was a great host and knows the area very well. O e day she even surprised me by taking me at a snorkling trip at 6:30 but not before treating me with a great coffee to wake up. It further has the biggest porch ever seen to relax at night still being outside. I am for sure coming back. A bumpy road to to get there but then get really value for money. You feel of the grid but with good wifi connectivity. Pancho buitenhuis

If you are looking for a beautiful peaceful and calm place , you got it ! This place is just perfect! Amy your host will guide you to the best snorkeling spots just in front of the villa , probably the best snorkeling place in the entire Mahahual area , I will return there anytime!!!

Casa Jamaila is a wonderful place. The host Amy just started this bed & breakfast but everything is already perfect and she is very helpful with any questions and requests. The house is very clean and kept clean the whole week and the fact that I had to share a bathroom with another person was really no problem at all. The house is very tasteful and comfortable with lots of spacious seating areas. The kitchen has everything you need, even a fridge and coffee maker in every room. The snorkeling directly at the house is stunning, the coral's and fishes just amazing. Amy knows the area very good and showed us great spots. Someone said she is like a fish ? she was fast but always kept an eye on me. I came here with an horrible headache and neck pain, I had already a whole week... Amy is a personal trainer and massage therapist with an amazing knowledge of the body and was able to get rid of my pain and gave me some really good tips on excercises to help and prevent more pain. I am so grateful for that. There are two very sweet dogs here, Wilson and Camella. I will definitely come back soon. I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful beachfront property with gracious hosts, comfortable beds and good access to Mahahual, snorkeling, and other great points of interest. We had an amazing stay and can't wait to come back!

I've been familiar with this house for a long time. Its always been a spectacular property, close to snorkeling, with a huge private beach, great caretaker and the biggest screened porch on the coast. Now it has been turned into a friendly guest house. I love Amy, who is the owner. She really makes it a fun stay. The house can be rented in its entirety, or you can rent individual rooms with bar fridges. You have access to a fantastic kitchen. Its a great way to meet people. Also 350 meters down the road there is the Mayan Beach Garden restaurant if you don't feel like cooking. You need reservations, but Amy can help you navigate that.
