★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice location, stunning view, nice service BUT : BE AWARE OF AGGRESSIVE DOGS around , we almost got bitten, we were lucky , but other clients got bitten by a black dog! It’s a very dangerous thing and they should prevent the customers !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a view!! We spent 4 nights in Casa KalMar, soaked in the pool, took in the view, enjoyed delicious breakfasts and had a wonderfully comfortable room! Zipolite centre and beach is a 10 minute walk down a stairway and path in the hills which is beautiful! The hotel staff were always helpful and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy 4 flawless days of relaxation, good food and full comfort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve lived in Mazunte for the last year and stayed at MANY locations all over Oaxaca. This was by far the worst experience ever. Mediocre rooms with zero privacy, as anyone that’s there is walking by and directly looking into your room.
To make it worse, I was walking around looking for a glass of water upon waking up and was harassed and verbally assaulted by the manager Silvia. Got in my face without Identifying who she was, yelling at me about who I was and why I was there, what room I was in and where my ID was. I answered as many times as I could and it only escalated. Awful humans running this place and a poor/low frequency as it’s norm.
GROSS!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the BEST place to stay in Zipolite!
Sylvia and her staff know how to take great care of their guests, anticipating and meeting their needs, as well as giving you space to enjoy your vacation.
The hotel and rooms are clean and well-kept. The pool is wonderful to have when you need a break from the beach. The daily continental breakfast was delicious.
I don't have one negative thing to say about this place. You're going to love it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place has a breathtaking view from Zipolite. Though the access can be hard for a pedestrian, it can be a great option if you’re wishing for a calm place where you can have a fresh breakfast each morning. The staff was always very friendly and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing place. Great location with lots of good dining options within walking distance. The beaches were amazing and you can explore quite a few towns in the area from here. Sylvia and Christina were excited to share adventure ideas and Jose, the night guard helped me order delivery even though we didn't speak the same language. All of the staff were very friendly and ready to help in anyway that they could. Breakfast each morning was amazing with a fruit and yogurt course followed by incredible home cooked food. The only downside is smoking is allowed in common areas which made breakfast a little smelly and hanging out at the pool occasionally unappealing. Otherwise an incredible place. We'll be back! Gracias!
