★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, thoughtful little hotel in an excellent location. The owners clearly care about getting everything right, down to the details, and love the place. It is a few paces from restaurants and the beach, but also very quiet and tranquil. The staff are extremely kind and friendly.

The location is perfect in a very lively area (la punta) of puerto escondido. Valerie was especcially kind and very helpful with any questions we had. Next time in puerto we know where to stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We flew from Us to Mex City, they did not let us know Hurricane Agatha was forming and expected to hit exactly that part of the country. Our flight to Puerto was canceled, we tried to reach out by phone, email and WhatsApp unsuccessfully to ask what we could do. After a day their answer was everything worked properly and that there was nothing to do. They already charged us the whole stay. Not the minimum intention to help/negotiate.

Hurricane about to hit the area (it did hit), flight canceled, we trying to reach out through all comm. channels according to their website; the answer we got one day later? "the Airport and the hotel were working", funny why they didn't answer phone calls, whatsapp messages nor emails while the hurricane was going on. Finally, they unilaterally charged us full stay without even reaching out or answering any of our calls/messages/emails. Sounds like force majour to me...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ this was our first time in puerto escondido and I could not be happier that we chose Casa Kuaa. The owner and staff are wonderful and accommodating, the rooms are modern and well designed, the beach bar is perfect and proximity to the beach and the town can’t be beat. we had a great time here and will definitely be back!
They can also arrange incredible massages on the property for you- highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a lovely place! Absolutely loved it!!! Planning a trip back already. Valerie was so great. She communicated with us regarding early check in and updated us as soon as the rooms were ready. Loved the vibe, peacefulness and relaxed atmosphere. Perfect getaway spot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a very nice hotel. Everything is well thought out. They did a very good job at designing it. We were here for our honeymoon and they greeted us with a nice display of rose petals. It's a really great location. And was surprisingly really really quiet.
