Le gérant Manuel est très accueillant et vous donnera les meilleurs conseils pour votre séjour. Beautiful setting and perfect for sunrise. Paddles and kayaks are available. The manager Manuel is very welcoming and will give you the best advice for your stay.

Es war immer sauber, es ist super ruhig und man hag einen tollen Ausblick von nahezu überall! Es gibt vielleicht kein Frühstück, dafür haben wir einem super Rotwein zur Begeüssung erhalten! Vielen Dank Manuel The Hotel was created with a love of detail, Manuel went to great lengths with everything! It was always clean, it is super quiet and you have a great view from almost everywhere! A	Axelle G. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nous sommes restées quelques jour dans ce lieu de paradis ! L'extérieur de l’hôtel est incroyable, les hamacs sur le lagon sont à couper le souffle. La chambre est très basique (la petite) mais c'est vite oublié ! Il y a aussi des canoes en libre service ! La gentillesse de l’hôte est aussi à noter ! Merci Manuel :) We stayed a few days in this place of paradise! The outside of the hotel is amazing, the hammocks on the lagoon are breathtaking. The room is very basic (the small one) but it's quickly forgotten! There are also self-service canoes! The kindness of the host is also to be noted! Thanks Manuel :)
G	GUILLAUME VANOYE on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Point positif : lieu et vue magnifique sur le lac Point négatif : nous avons eu beaucoup de mal à trouver l'hôtel (mal indiqué). L'hôtel ne propose pas de petit déjeuner. Quand nous sommes arrivés, les chambres n'étaient pas prêtes. Il a fallu attendre 17h00 (au lieu de 15h00). Les chambres sont équipées de climatisation mais ont de l'eau une fois sur deux. Pour l'eau chaude, soyez patient ! Très peu d'équipements dans les chambres car apparemment l'hôtel venait de réouvrir. Pour nous accueillir, un tas de poubelle entassé à l'entré de l'hôtel. Dommage car l'hôtel a vraiment du potentiel ... Positive point: location and magnificent view of the lake Negative point: we had a lot of trouble finding the hotel (badly marked). The hotel does not offer breakfast. When we arrived the rooms were not ready. We had to wait until 5:00 p.m. (instead of 3:00 p.m.). The rooms are equipped with air conditioning but have water every other time. For hot water, be patient! Very few amenities in the rooms as apparently the hotel had just reopened. To welcome us, a pile of trash piled up at the entrance of the hotel. Too bad because the hotel really has potential ...
A	Adam Hoszman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ant infested place, wall paint peeling off. Washbasin tap broken - water splashing all over the bathroom. Door lock open - you can't lock the cabin from inside. I had to lock from outside and climb in through the window. The window didn't lock properly so we didn't feel safe there. The owner tells you to keep your car outside the main gate because he is afraid you car may scratch the driveway. The location is different than marked in booking.com so you actually have nothing in the walking distance. You have to drive for breakfast and dinner. The only thing we liked was the location, though further to the south the water is blue while at the location it was dark green.

Super disappointed to pay so much money for breathing the mould. Internet is bad, not enough for working. Kitchen was also dirty- see the pictures
A	ANDRIANJAFISOLO Robin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was perfect, I came without car and Manuel gave us some tips that make our stay in Bacalar so easy ! Advices for restaurant, awesome boat tour, he gave me a phone number for cheap taxi 24h, even without car my stay was exceptional in Bacalar ! I’m now in tulum and everything seems difficult if I compare my stay in Bacalar. The room is comfortable and coffee machine is a real plus ! You also have paddle and kayak for free, I enjoyed sunrise each morning on the kayak it was unbelievable. Thanks again Manuel and the whole team I’ll be back and will recommend this hotel to everyone. Robin & Camille
K	Karin Merriman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed 3 nights at Casa La Joya while we explored beautiful Bacalar. Manuel and his staff were very welcoming ~ kindly having cold beer in the fridge and gifting a bottle of wine upon our arrival. Our room had everything we needed but I must say the outside area with direct access to the lake was our favourite. There is lots of seating and hammocks to relax in and also kayaks and paddleboards for the guests to use. We watched the most amazing sunrises from here. It is about a 20 minute walk to restaurants and such, however there are always taxis available if needed. Bacalar lake is truly amazing and getting out on a boat tour is a must. Manuel booked a tour for us and that was super helpful. We would definitely stay again.
