Authentic Chinese food in San cristobal. Delicious meal and very cool host. Even the tea was incredible. The picture of the biang biang noodles does not do it justice. 10/10

Simply the best host we’ve EVER met! Ying is not only very friendly, but also a overall very happy and nice to chat with in general (with a lot of tips as well!) finally, she’s very helpful; not only with things concerning our stay, but also beyond that. 10/10 hospitality. I’ve never said this in a review, but she’s really the sweetest with an inspiring and unique personality. as for the room itself: it was spacious, super clean and with a cozy decor. but the location is the icing on the cake: in the middle of the centre, but at the same time secluded from the noise from the bars around. in conclusion: it seems clear to me that this place is a no brainer. will be back again next week! As for the restaurant: The best dumplings we’ve ever had by miles! For the price you’ll get 15 (!) of them, which seems a lot but if you’ve had your first you can never have too much of them! Also got some (free) appetizers on the side, which all were just as unique and amazing! We’re really going to miss this place: the airbnb, restaurant but especially the chef and host Ying!

I love Ying's kitchen, everything you will try at her restaurant is delicious and you will find yourself coming back for more. It's authentic Chinese food, with authentic flavor! Get ready to treat tour tummy to a warm beef noodle soup or the handmade dumplings.

Love how authentic the food is. Tried the famous beef noddles, finished up the broth too. If you like spicy food, try the Chongqing small noddle. Wanted to try more things on the menu but don't have space in my stomach. Many items are usually hard to find outside of China, like Maocai, individual hotpot. Will definitely visit again if we come back to San Cristobal.

If you want truly authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go. Ying’s recipes are from her family’s own private collection. Her pan fried dumplings are the best in town!

You can tell that Ying and her staff show a lot of pride in the food they serve. Their attention to authenticity makes this place one of my favorite places to eat at—I tend to eat at places with passion and love in their cooking. The exotic spices she uses in the sauces are really special. Not only that, but she’s always made me feel at home and even gives my dogs bones so they can eat with us.

Yum. Yum. Yum. Been in San Cristobal de las Casas for over a month and we were missing good Chinese food. Casa la Ying didn't disappoint at all. Dumplings tasted like how mom made it, and was very authentic. Biangbiang and beef noodles were full of flavor and we would definitely come back again. Ling was super hospitable and came out and spoke to us in Chinese, English and Spanish. Thank you Ying for the delicious food...
