★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ubicada frente a la Alameda Rangel, en esta antigua casa habitaba el bienhechor de Real de Asientos, Don Benito Gaspar de Larrañaga, célebre empresario minero quien construyó el templo de Nuestra Señora de Belén, así como las cárceles y las Casas Reales. En la fachada se puede encontrar aun el escudo de armas de la familia Larrañaga.
La Casa Larrañaga se distingue por los anagramas religiosos tallados en cantera rosa. Aunque originalmente se componía de dos plantas, actualmente solo queda una.
Esta casa del siglo XVII no puede ser visitada por tratarse de una finca privada, pero podrás disfrutarla desde fuera.
Cuenta la leyenda que aquel que logre descifrar el escudo de la familia encontrará tres tesoros: uno en la propia casa, el segundo en la casa del minero y el tercero en el puente blanco.
Located in front of the Alameda Rangel, in this old house lived the benefactor of Real de Asientos, Don Benito Gaspar de Larrañaga, a famous mining businessman who built the temple of Nuestra Señora de Belén, as well as the prisons and the Royal Houses. On the facade you can still find the coat of arms of the Larrañaga family.
The Larrañaga House is distinguished by the religious anagrams carved in pink quarry. Although originally it consisted of two floors, currently only one remains.
This 17th century house cannot be visited as it is a private estate, but you can enjoy it from the outside.
Legend has it that whoever manages to decipher the family crest will find three treasures: one in the house itself, the second in the miner's house and the third on the white bridge.
