I recently stayed at Casa Linda for a week and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this place was. The accommodations were very comfortable and had beautiful views of the ocean from several windows. I loved the bright and colorful decor and the many places you could relax while taking in the scenic views. Since there was a full kitchen, we stopped at a grocery and stocked up for our stay there. We found the restaurant choices so convenient to walk to however we ended up eating out mostly. Having a private beach steps away from your back door was so convenient with lounge chairs, tables, beach towels and umbrellas provided. It was great to have a beautiful, clean pool as an option on those days when I wanted to swim. The blooming lush foliage everywhere added to the ambiance of the property. I am already planning a return visit. Loved spending my vacation there as did my friends.

My wife and I stayed at Casa Linda in the Casa Gallo unit the week of Christmas 2021 for a "staycation." We've stayed at Casa Linda before, but this was a longer stay, so we really got a chance to settle in. We also happen to live in Puerto Vallarta, so are quite familiar with the area. Casa Linda is a gem. It's a small compound that has been in the owner's family (Lori), for over 50 years. Lori has lovingly curated each of the units with authentic and tasteful Mexican art and furniture. If you are the kind of person that enjoys staying in one of the high rise resorts where each unit is a concrete box attacked on top of another, this will not be to your liking. However, if you're wondering what it would be like to live in Mexico, Casa Linda will exceed your expectations. You can hear the waves of the ocean from your unit. CL's private beach is roped off so you don't get bothered by the beach vendors. The entire property has fast internet. My wife and I were working while staying there and were able to run Zoom meetings right from the beach - amazing! CL's location is smack dab in the middle of the "Golden Z0ne," the most desirable neighborhood in Bucerias, with some of the areas best restaurants, bars and live music within a 5-10 minute walk. You're also close to the Centro "downtown" with authentic Mexican street food, live music, bars and the daily rhythm of Mexican life. During our stay, we walked to town on the beach almost everyday. About a 5-minute walk from CL is an authentic Mexican grocery store where we would buy our fresh produce and groceries. The kitchen in our unit was well-appointed. Each unit has a modern gas grill on its patio. We made chili rellenos, grilled shrimp and grilled prime rib during our stay and ate on our unit's private patio across from the pool. The pool and grounds at CL are on another level. The owner, Lori, has had the same gardener and housekeepers for years. They keep the gardens and pool area perfectly groomed and the villas clean as a whistle. Since we live in Mexico, we never feel unsafe here, although, with Lori and her team on-site, it brings an extra level of safety. After you check-in, be sure to ask Lori for some "locals tips" for things to do and places to visit (it's how we discovered the little Mexican grocery store). All-in-all, Lori's attention to detail and convenience creates a once-in-a-lifetime experience where her guests can drift away from their pressures back home and really settle in to the laid back "manana" vibe that makes Mexico a wonderful place to come to and tough to leave. Tip: Be sure to book ahead with Lori, as a majority of her booking are repeat visitors. When we were visiting, we found all of her guests to be great people, well-mannered and respectful of privacy and noise. One other tip, book directly with Lori, instead of through a website and you can save a few bucks.

Casa Linda What a wonderful experience! Great location on the beach. Tropical paradise, beautifully maintained. Lori, always on hand to meet any extra requirements. Highly recommend. We will be back.
