Esa misma noche, mientras se despedían, María comenzó las labores de parto. La habitación se colmó de incertidumbre. Al amanecer, un grito aciago anunció la muerte de madre e hijo. Tres días después del entiero, Jaime, Lola y los tres niños se embarcaron hacia América.
Los hijos de María crecieron, se casaron con tres hermanas e hicieron fortuna en la Ciudad de México. En los años cuarenta, Lola dirigía uno de los múltiples negocios familiares: la fábrica de sombreros; muy cerca, instaló su residencia en la casa estilo racionalista que sus sobrinos le construyeron en la recién inaugurada Colonia Roma.

Desde los anfitriones son altamente atentos, como el lugar muy bien cuidado y acondicionado, literalmente es una galería de arte.
Adoro toda la vegetación y piezas por todas las áreas comunes.
Y la ubicación es buenísima, justo cerca de todo.
Casa Lola is definitely a hidden gem in CDMX.
Since the hosts are highly attentive, as the place is very well maintained and conditioned, it is literally an art gallery.
I love all the greenery and pieces throughout the common areas.
And the location is great, right near everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un lugar muy bonito en cuanto a diseño pero poco funcional para hospedarse.
Se destaca la cama muy cómoda, así como sábanas y edredón. La limpieza tb era adecuada.
Por lo demás, las puertas y escalera de metal hacen mucho ruido a todas horas. Se escucha todo (hasta el “click” del encendido de una lámpara) de las demás habitaciones. El internet de la habitación es débil (en la sala principal funciona a buena velocidad) y el agua de la ducha se estanca y no fluye bien.
Nos quedamos en la habitación Adela, quizás en otra habitación la experiencia sea mejor.
En resumen, muy lindo lugar pero si quieres descansar no es el indicado. No me volvería a hospedar aquí.
A very nice place in terms of design but not very functional to stay.
The very comfortable bed stands out, as well as sheets and duvet. Cleaning was also adequate.
Otherwise, the metal doors and stairs make a lot of noise at all hours. Everything is heard (even the "click" of a lamp being switched on) from the other rooms. The internet in the room is weak (in the main room it works at a good speed) and the water in the shower stagnates and does not flow well.
We stayed in the Adela room, perhaps in another room the experience would be better.
In short, a very nice place but if you want to rest it is not the right one. I would not stay here again.
