Incredible experience in Palenque, 100% recommended, all the people who are there make you feel a magical day learning the whole Mezcal process, we were lucky to be in a tapada (When they put the maguey leaves to cook) It is great, We didn't want to go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muy bonito, en la visita al Palenque la Familia López Real nos compartió de cómo realizan su trabajo, su experiencia en el arte del Mezcal y de su vida, el amor y la dedicación para producir productos de calidad, nos hicieron sentir en casa con su amabilidad y hospitalidad. En su barra nos dieron a degustar de la variedad de Mezcales que comercializan y todos estaban deliciosos, se podía degustar el toque especial de cada uno. Se los recomiendo, no se van a arrepentir de visitarlos!
Very nice, during the visit to Palenque the López Real Family shared with us how they do their work, their experience in the art of Mezcal and their life, their love and dedication to produce quality products, they made us feel at home with their friendliness and hospitality. In their bar they gave us to taste the variety of Mezcales that they sell and they were all delicious, you could taste the special touch of each one. I recommend them, you will not regret visiting them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OMG this family-run palenque is amazing. We were introduced to this jewel through a friend and it has been one of my favorite experiences in my travels through Mexico so far. Upon arrival, we were greeted as family and proceeded to have an intimate and educational tour through the entire magical mezcal-making process; we were even included in part of the process! After we learned about the process, we were joined by Don Mario and Doña Sabi for a very generous mezcal tasting and rich conversation (Spanish, English, and even Zacateca) into the evening, followed by a trip to a local taqueria, and then we wrapped up a perfect evening together while they closed down shop and escorted us to the main road so we could drive the short way back to Oaxaca City for the night. To everyone at Casa Lopez Real, mil gracias, thank you, and quixteosho! We will be back!
