Incredible food! Probably the best Mexican I’ve ever had. Authentic, fresh, and delicious. The service was also great and the view was fantastic.

Very poor food service, kitchen put out hard rock burned bagle with smoke salmon, also over cooked eggs Benedict on some kind of crackers ?? Very poor presentation. When asked to speak with the head waiter no one talked to us about our experience. Sad.

Our first visit in 2018: Gorgeous boutique hotel with stunning views from the room balcony, restaurant and pool. Rooms are minimally and beautifully decorated, our bed was very comfortable and the bathroom is enormous. Food at the restaurant is some of the best we've had in Mazatlan and all of the staff are wonderful. Walking distance from a plethora of restaurants in Old Mazatlan and right on the promenade. 2019 update: everything is still superb, rooms now have a fridge and TV. Jorge is our favourite server!

Restaurant review only. Came here for breakfast so we could get an early start before hiking up to the lighthouse. Well, we did not get an early start at all. Service was incredibly slow. I considered leaving, but my husband wanted to try the machacha with eggs. From the time we were seated, it took a good 10 minutes before we were given menus. Then over 45 minutes to even have our order taken! Food was just as slow coming out. When it finally arrived, it was disappointing. The beef and chilaquiles were fine. The egg was cooked until it was like rubber. The sweet potato pancakes I ordered were topped with cheap chocolate sauce and were all burnt on one side. It seems we were also overcharged. The menu stated that the specials come with orange juice and pastries. My husband's order was a special, but he was brought no pastries and he was charged for the juice. I can't find a current picture of the menu, so cannot confirm this for sure. I'd skip this place next time I'm looking for a nice meal.

After 2 months in Mazatlan, the restaurant at this hotel has the unique distinction as both the most expensive meal I've had, as well as the worst meal I've had. I tried the Ribeye. When asked how I wanted it cooked, I saw medium-med rare; lots of pink please. My wife and a friend also ordered steaks. They all came out strangely folded in half. Like they were vacuum sealed folded in half, and the cook just took them out of the bag and cooked them like that. Very odd. Anyways, I checked my steak for doneness, and it was totally grey inside. I showed it to the server who graciously offered to fix it. He came back so fast I knew it was going to be problems. He presented me with another steak that was pale grey on the outside. I cut it open, and it was totally raw inside. I don't mean rare. I touched it with my finger and it was cold to the touch! So he took the steak back to the kitchen only to return again with it now cut in half, and still super rare inside. No pink, just purple. I gave up at this point and decided to just eat my steak that had the consistency of Tuna Sashimi. Unfortunately it didn't taste like it had been seasoned at all, so I just added salt and ate it. Angrily. The mashed potatoes were decent at least. The salads all had no dressing, but at least the server brought some out on request. Honestly, its hard to even fathom that there's a person out there being paid to cook this food. TLDR; Food is as awful as it is overpriced. The view is great and the service was friendly. If you just want to grab a drink and watch the sunset this would probably be a great place to do it. Maybe try an appetizer. The bruschetta was palatable at least.

4.5 stars. Super nice people and bartender rocked!!! Rooms were cute, just a little warmer than wanted, couldn't get the thermostat working. Infinity pool had a great view, but I like my pools bigger. We had dinner there one night and was awesome. I had the filet mignon.

Some of the photos that the property use for marketing are way over with the photoshop, I mean Mazatlan IT IS BEAUTIFUL by all means, but the color of the water in some of the pictures is just not real so that's a big NO NO to false advertising, the property itself gorgeous and the area of olas atlas perfect for the morning walks or perfect spot to contemplate the spectacular sunset.
