★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fairly positive overall experience staying for 2 nights in Casa Lum.
Some of the bedrooms they have are clearly VERY small, and the 2 we have been to are lacking cruelly natural lights.
Outside of this, the personals are very kind and the decoration of the inside terrasse is very nice.
I am not sure I would recommend it as it is clearly overpriced though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel in a great location with the most attentive staff. I just felt like the rooms were too small and the beds could have been more comfortable. I could also easily hear the people from other rooms and the wifi signal seemed to go down at times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I only ate here once for breakfast but was impressed with the service. They were super accommodating, food was fine and WiFi was good too. Nice place to work for a couple hours during the day, if you sit in the rooms not facing the street. (pending no loud groups sit nearby you either. :)

The barbacoa tacos tasted fine but they were served dry in the form of a terrine (we expected them to be juicy) My boyfriend ordered Ribeye steak (he made his decision after seeing the dish on the promo presentation which is screened inside the restaurant).The meat he was served was 2/3rds fat and we have our doubts as to whether it was even Ribeye. In retrospect, its not a great sign to have to "promo" your food.
Overall, rather disappointed. The staff were great, but it was not worth the hype or the bill

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and friendly hotel in the most interesting and vibrant part of this charming town. The staff is beyond incredible - most helpful, friendly and accommodating. They satisfied every wish and whim. For example, as vegans, we were served a special breakfast, with the chef bringing local veggies from her own garden (try chayotes!) and making delicious dishes just for us. Beautiful rooms. What a great place! You have to stay there when in San Cristobal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a great service and experience!!! The place is right in the hearth of San Cristobal. If you are overwhelmed with the amount of options like me, don’t think twice and book this place. Jannette and Alfredo from the staff are super helpful and funny. Food and drinks from their restaurant are top 3 in San Cristobal.
