What a great price and location. The beds were comfy.

Really comfortable stay. Great location, we were able to walk around and find anything we needed within minutes.

Great location but overall the stay was horrible the hot water didn’t work at all downstairs. There was only 1 towel per room and no wash towels at all .

As much as I wanted to like this place I was very disappointed. Location is great but the house itself was very dirty, walked barefoot for a bit and my feet were covered in dirt. Hardly any water pressure or hot water not to mention the host did not supply washcloths. The kitchen is inhabitable during daytime as it gets completely hot and very uncomfortable to be in, especially with the house not having central ac. The coffee machine was a bit dirty, luckily there are many coffee shops within walking distance. I doubt I’d stay here ever again. First impressions are big for me and I was not impressed. The house has great potential but needs a whole lot of work.

Casa Lupe was dirty from the minute we arrived. Do not wear socks around the house if you don’t want them to be black at the bottom. The restroom floor was dark and grimy around the walls. The water pressure is extremely low in the downstairs restrooms. The house is set to accommodate 16 people, but the showers didn’t allow for more than one person to shower at a time, even with the first and second story showers having 2 separate units. If you enjoy eating in a sauna, you’ll love the kitchen. It is always very hot and humid, and the south side of the kitchen ceiling looks like it’ll collapse at any minute. There are loud ringers to allow you into the house, so if people are coming into the home while you’re sleeping, enjoy being awaken by the loud buzzers that are installed. The location may be convenient, yet my stay was anything but.

I had high hopes for this place based off the photos and previous reviews but we were thoroughly disappointed with our stay. It is in a great location and has great curb appeal, but that’s about it. 1. The house was filthy and looked as if it had never been deep cleaned. The shower curtains are completely soiled and brown at the bottom. Dirt is caked into the baseboards and corners, and the bedding smelled old and stale. 2. The water pressure is horrible and not practical for the amount of guests it advertises for. Only 1 person can shower at a time due to the lack of water pressure and available hot water. The downstairs rooms were without hot water as a whole for 2 days. 3. There is only 1 bath towel per room. No wash cloths or extra towels. This place advertises to comfortably host 16 guests but provides 6 towels total. I’ve never had to worry about packing towels for a vacation, but here, you will need to. 4. There was no AC, only ceiling fans. Luckily we visited during a comfortable time of year and at night it was cooler outside, but during the day when it was 80+ degrees the rooms, especially the kitchen, were uncomfortable. If you have incredibly low standards then this place is great for you. Otherwise, I highly suggest to book elsewhere. I would never rent this location again.

We had the following issues with our stay 1. Place was dirty, floors, showers, shower heads were 50%+ clogged, hair in showers, shower curtains were brown and disgusting. 2. The hot water downstairs didn’t work 3. Hot water was sporadic upstairs - only one could shower at a time The place has so much potential and if it had been clean and functional, I would have enjoyed my stay. It looks great in pictures, but a professional cleaning service and handyman is needed to make it comfortable.

I really wanted to like this place. It was in a convenient location, had wonderful curb appeal with great reviews. I’m not sure what happened with my stay but it was anything but. Pros: - Location, there’s lots of cute bars and restaurants around. Not too far from the airport and centrally located to other places to visit while in Guadalajara - We really enjoyed the upstairs terrace. - Beds are comfy - The place is very spacious - Cons: - The water pressure is awful. Only 1 person can shower at a time but it advertises for 16 guests? We had 6 and it was very inconvenient. I can only imagine had we been at full capacity. This is known problem as the host suggested only 1 person shower at a time even though there are 5 bathrooms! If one shower is on, none of the others work - The hot water was sporadic during our stay. While showering it would get scolding hot and then get ice cold out of nowhere. There were times when there was no hot water at all. The guests who stayed downstairs had no hot water 2 out of our 3 nights there so they took cold showers. The host did, however, offer to send a plumber when the issue was brought to their attention. This was only to fix the hot water issue, not the water pressure so that issue seems to be permanent - This place is pretty dirty. The floors are not mopped often. If you walk around in socks, it will turn them brown. The bottoms of the white showers curtains are brown - The host does not provide wash cloths. Not a big deal but when you stay somewhere you don’t expect to bring a wash cloth. Also, we stayed 3 nights and they only provided one towel per person. Not to mention, the towels are brown. Just advice to the host - white towels only! - The supplied dishes were dirty - This house has no AC - this is disclosed by the host but we didn’t realize this until it was too late. It gets pretty hot - The kitchen is a sauna during the day and the ceiling was falling in. There are also water stains on the ceilings all over but not pictured - I requested a partial refund and tried to be fair considering the issues we had with hot water and pressure - the host has yet to respond and has made me escalate my issue with Airbnb (submit videos of my issues) which is highly unprofessional - Overall, I would not recommend staying here. You’re better off getting a hotel as there are really nice ones in the area. The host also did not honor a partial refund as requested.
