★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here with my partner on May 23 2022. We had our main waiter Salvador who was super attentive and kind. Some of the best service we have had in playa. The dancers were also phenomenal. It is a bit more spendy but worth one night out, with the delicious food and great service. Again I want to thank Salvador for being so great. The mariachi and dancers and service all together made for a great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Go for the food because it's absolutely delicious. Ignore the obnoxiously loud music. Pay with cash because the server kept changing the amounts of our bill and entering it before we got to see the total. It was really shady because 3 different credit cards from 3 people didn't work after we questioned the price changes from the bill to the machine. If you want amazing food, come here. We still came back after our bad experiences because the food was just that good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cafe Mariachi was recommended to us by our tour guide from Ramiro tours. This is a fairly new place and I must say the decor is really really nice. They have live Mariachi bands every night starting at 9:00 P.M.
We had the enchiladas with the red mole sauce and a green verde sauce with a side of rice, beans and guacamole. The food is very good and the staff was great answering any questions we had. I am Ciliac so need gluten-free food with no cross contamination. They were very careful to ensure my dish was indeed gluten free. We will definitely come back to Casa Mariachi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place just recently opened, has a fun and energetic dance show in different styles. Service was excellent, food as well. It's priced at tourist rates, but it is fun to be a tourist sometimes. Excellent selection of drinks, and my mezcalita was strong. I'll return evertime I have friends in town.
